Asura Female Clothing options.
Since Asuran genders are pretty much identical physically, why would there be different outfits for females? That wouldnt be very effective.
The only different outfit, with a different model, is the wintersday townclothes.
It’s gorgeous, but that’s all we have.

Oh yeah!

Actually, the Savant outfit also has a noticable difference between the male and female version. The earflaps on the male version are much larger.

This is also true. But the model is still fairly similar, if you compare the differences, say, of most female human garb to male human garb.

This isn’t true. Voice and ear structure differentiate them at a base level, and obviously their faces are a pretty sure indication. They also (according to the wiki) function similarly to humans in terms of what’s going on with reproduction, etc. Their society just happens to not put an overbearing emphasis on male to female differences in position or equality. They’re highly evolved, and so they are assumed to be beyond putting stereotypical gender roles on each other too strongly. You do however see many married couples through out the game, and they do appear to carry their relationships quite similarly to the humans as well. It’s mostly the society thing as to their reasoning behind the lack of gender defining outfits, but I do agree I would like to see more feminine options for female Asura rather than just the male version. I’m not saying “skimpy”, as I hope to avoid that altogether LOL…But yeah, feminine would be nice.

Honestly. I don’t think they look bad with female clothing. I do wish I had some of the female medium armor sets as the males tend to be awefully generic, but I can see how with some(if not most) of the light armor it might look odd to see on a female Asura
Absolutely adorable

The town clothes shirts were the first item that I’m aware of where female Asura had the female skins. Those have since been removed from the store though…

Nobody’s asking for that, just feminine versions of the gear. O_o

Because feminine clothing only consists of skimpy things….
Think before you comment.

I have a male asura -character- who actually uses a female asura model (I wanted a guy who looks like an aye-aye and that wasn’t possible with the male options), and with him I kinda rely on the female model using male armours, so.. I’d rather this didn’t happen.
What would be better is new armours/armour skins (NOT ascended) that look slightly more feminine, for those who want that option, rather than going back and “fixing” old armours.

Of course I too think it’s better to keep the current armors as they are because a lot of people may like their current armor set. Only armors that are added as of now should have significant changes between male and female.
Also, out of curiosity, what armor are you talking about? As far as I know, only male versions are used for asura (regardless of gender) there are only a few armors where females have their own version. Though I have never heard of an armor where the male uses the female version.

I mean the reverse. My asura uses the female model, has the female voice, but I consider it male. I rely on on the female model using the male armour.
Though, personally believe it would be both amusing and fantastic if, with any race, females had the choice of wearing male armour, and males had the choice of wearing female. I’d definitely prefer to have the female version of the light orrian mantle on my male sylvari necromancer!
give us the ’’masquarade’’ spvp armor in pve and all our asura will look twice as more sexy.
