I have trouble understanding some of the things my little guy says when he gains certain buffs. I know sometimes when he gets vigor he’ll say something like; “six feet tall!” but I have trouble figuring out some of the other things.

Hrm…
What can I think of, off top of my head? This is female Asura, btw.

• “You’re dumb. You’ll die, and you’ll leave a dumb corpse.” → Initiating combat, I think against humanoids only. Also used very infrequently.
• “Endurance: deficiency” → When trying to dodge while out of Endurance.
• “Structural integrity: compromised” → When nearly dead.
• “Go on, hit me!” → Protection.

I believe it is something along the lines of “i feel six feet tall!” theyre short, so when they succeed and “feel big,” it’s all the way up to 6, lol.

“I dare you, hit me” – Retaliation
“I’m nigh invincible” -protection
“Accelerate!” – swiftness
“I feel 6 feet tall!” – might
“Vitality restored” – vigor

He has a bunch more for conditions as well but I won’t be listing those

Haha, I love this one. I heard my Ranger say it once, but it seems my Necromancer says it a bit more often. I giggle every time I hear it.

Male Asura sometimes says “Initiating feedback loop!” on Retaliation.
For Chilled he says “Body heat diminished!”

If there are any lines you are still wondering about just ask.

Female:
Chilled – going hypothermic!
Crippled – my mobility is impaired
Fury – rage at maximum
Poisoned – I need an antidote!
Might – time to do some real damage
Swiftness – accelerating!
Regeneration – getting healthy
Vigor – never felt better
Healing turret placement – healing turret: activated / dispenser, here!
After killing an enemy – how that feels? excrutiating?

Mine said the You’re dumb quote after leveling with no monsters, npcs or people around.

I can only assume it was directed at me.

Also, its “Going hypothermic!”

“By the way, you’ve been struck”
“You’re dead, you just don’t know it yet”

Confusion = “Where am I”

It’s really is awesome game design. I always know when I get a debuff without having to stare at the UI.

Female asura bits—

“Go ahead— hit me” is Retaliation.
“Armor enhanced” is Protection.
“leave a dumb corpse” seems to happen when I pick up an environmental weapon, most often.
“Structural integrity compromised” happens at half-health.
“Mobility Impaired” — crippled
“THERE’s the power” — Might

There’s some others I don’t remember offhand.

My female has been saying one thing that I can’t make out. It sounds like “Divide and kapaow!” Anyone else hear this and know if that is what she is saying?

Yeah that is what I thought too… but it really really sounds like kaboom. I’m going to have to listen closer next time.

I believe it’s “combine and compound” for a cross profession combo.

‘’Synergy is beautiful’’

I’ve heard the “Synergy is beautiful!” when I lay down the field. Perhaps “Combine and Compound” is for when I provide the finisher?

Sometimes when i get crippled my male says “ooooh not the leg…” so piteously that i just can’t help but laugh

" I’ve been emolated " or something like that when they catch fire.

This feels really kittenish of me correcting your spelling but it’s “immolated.”

There is one moment where my male Asura is buying from a Merchant he’ll say something like either “This is Important” or “This is Imported”

I’m guessing it’s the first one but considering it’s a merchant he’s interacted with I’m not sure. Maybe he has a thing against imported goods?

Never heard my Necromancer say that. Is there some specific skill it’s attached to?

Burning!…burning! – Female Asura with burning condition.

I’ve heard male asura scream out, “I’m hemorrhaging!” while… you guessed it… bleeding.

I have heard plenty of times, I’m 95% sure its when he gets retalitation (male asura), he yells “Feedback loop, initiated!”

My favourite of all has to be male asura necromancer’s summoning quote, or one of them:
“I HAVE CREATED LIFE!… of a sort”

when a minion dies in combat " I’m glad I didn’t name that one"

Male Asura has my favorite voice by far. A couple other ones I hear:

Initiating combat: “You brought this on yourself.” (usually when I’m slaughtering innocent bunnies)

Initiating combat: “Looks like I’ll have to teach you a lesson!”

I get this one on my engineer occasionally when swapping kits (which I do a lot, juggling elixir gun and flamethrower in combat).

One more quote just got in my mind: ‘High toxicity!’ when being poisoned!

I apsolutally love the “You’re dumb. You’ll die, and you’ll leave a dumb corpse.” quote as well.

Oh, and I love the “May all your theories be sound” after talking to someone, sometimes. I say that when saying goodbye to my friends all the time now.

Oh, and the way my female necro says “Goodbye” is seriously the cutest thing ever.

The Asura are the best race just because of the animations and voices. They are great!

I love the Dumb quote so much.

I think my second favorite is the Asura on revive speech:

“Guess who’s back?!

… It’s me, by the way."

So socially awkward and adorable.

I have heard my Asuran male (engineer) say “This will be unpleasant for you.” in a warm, creepy voice. It always creeps me right out.
Sometimes in dungeons when he is thrown in to a downed state he says “Impossible!” and “You…beat ME?!”

“I will always remember you.. blah blah something”
“These things should really come with a warranty.”

I was picking up an environment object for a quest, and my toon muttered something like,

“Where is a golem when you need one?”

gave me a chuckle.

“And now… to destroy you!”

Asura elementalist while switching to the earth element: “Rocks and stones will break your bones!”.
