Guild Wars 2

I just wanted to let the devs know I heard the redone Bazaar of the Four Winds theme featured in the season 2 trailer, sounds fantastic and I am super excited to hear the rest of the music recorded for season 2! I am surprised you guys decided to go with a real orchestra, but am so glad you did.
I love it!

You can use VST instruments all day, but you can’t beat an orchestra. So glad they were able to do this! Looking forward to the “Living Soundtrack” article as well. I imagine that’ll give us more background info.

I too am really happy to hear they chose to use a live orchestra. It’s great to see real musicians being used and supported rather than going digital. And what we heard in the new video sounds great. I’m looking forward to hearing the rest.

New orchestral music

is amazing. Love it love it love it.

The new tracks for Dry Top are really nice, I hope there will be plenty more this season :P

They do capture the atmosphere of the new zone rather well, and yea its a clear difference in the sound quality between the new and the old. Kinda excited for the rest of the new pieces to come !

New soundtrack fits amazingly good! I really loved the tracks, as they’re not too “hero-ish” – the problem I have in Tyria from kryta to shiverpeaks.

We don’t hear overused tunes, but rather smooth, intriguing music.

Now I’m looking foward to new Battle Themes as old ones are pretty boring, similar and often cannot catch the vibe of battle. Oh and again, overused.

The best part of the Living Story was,is and (hopefully still) will be the music. Maclain and Leif are bosses in this department. Thank you guys for bringing us some of the best music in Guild Wars 2!
