To compensate, we’re increasing the overall effectiveness of Celestial gear by improving all stats by 6% of their current values."

could you ask if they plan any sort of one time stat change since they are possibly changing the functionality?
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.
They already said before that the idea was to buff the stats in return for the loss of extra crit. Probably going from 5/8 to 3/4 or so.
I’ve been looking for that, but haven’t been able to find a dev post stating that. Only that they would look into it. Could you link the post?
Would be nice to know, but I’m guessing if they have anything to say about it, they’ll include it in one of the articles. My money’s on “Art of combat”.

Celestial gear in PvP had incorrect stat distribution so we’re increasing its effectiveness to be proportional to the new PvE values. This should open up more build diversity and allow you to bring your builds from other areas in the game into PvP.”

TL:DR = critical damage will be nerfed 35-55% on a full celestial set, while the damage boost by the 6% is laughable, especially by rounding up issues by the super low base value’s on armor. Even divinity runes are being hit hard.

Did some calculations myself compared to zerk: the nerf will hit us for 8.2% on direct damage, which will put us closer to zerk then it is now.
8,2% nerf? that’s pretty low, assuming 30-50% crit damage nerf. (for instance exquisite jewel will go from 3 to 1% crit damage, divinity runes 2 to 0,66, weapon 10 to 5,5, list goes on). This is a massive nerf to one single stat. The other stat barely can compensate for it. Dunno where you get 8,2% from.
