[PvX] Comprehensive Ranger Suggestions
Utility skills-
Goal: Create a new set of utility skills to fill the gap left by Traps and add much needed real utility to the Ranger’s line-up.
Changes:
• Nature Magic skills added.
• New Nature Magic Skill- Summon Bees: Summon bees to blind nearby foes. Gain stealth while they are distracted.
Blind- 5s
Stealth- 3s
Breaks Stun
• New Nature Magic Skill- Nature’s Energy: Draw energy from your surroundings using it to refill endurance and cure 2 conditions on yourself and nearby allies.
• New Nature Magic Skill- Spirit Water: Drink water imbued with Nature’s spirit allowing you to instantly revive the next two allies you aid.
Duration: 20s
• New Nature Magic Skill- Natural Warding: Create a line of natural warding at target location. Foes crossing this are immobilized by earth.
Duration: 5s
Immobilize: 3s
• Search and Rescue now applies Protection to your pet and revives at normal speed.
• Signet of the Hunt Active changed functionality. Signet of the Hunt now teleports your pet to your target and your pet instantly strikes them applying Immobilize (1s) and Cripple (5s). Range 1,200.
• Signet of Stone Reduced recharge to 60s.
Healing Skills-
Goal: Add useful secondary healing effects to standard healing skills.
Changes:
• Heal as One now recharges 50% faster if it only heals your pet and 20% faster if it only heals you.
• Troll Unguent now removes one condition when used and one every 4s thereafter.
• Healing Spring is now Ground Targeted. 600 Range.
Traits-
Goal: Revamp traits to create real build diversity instead of dependency on a select few powerful traits.
Changes:
Marksmanship-
• Piercing Arrows moved to adept tier.
• Steady Focus removed.
• Eagle Eye moved to Grandmaster Tier. Eagle Eye now also increases movement speed while wielding a bow by 25%.
Skirmishing-
• Trap Potency functionality changed. Dodging while wielding a staff returns some of the endurance used and Staff skills recharge 20% faster. Moved to Wilderness Survival.
• Trapper’s Expertise moved to Wilderness Survival.
• New Grandmaster Trait “Lightning Defense”. When disabled your endurance is refilled and the incoming disable is negated. kitten Recharge.
• Moment of Clarity now applies Lightning Reflexes to you and your pet instead of Attack of Opportunity.
Wilderness Survival-
• Hide in Plain Sight now applies stealth instead of camouflage.
• Empathetic Bond Removed
• Off-Hand Training moved to Skirmishing.
Nature Magic-
• New Grandmaster trait, “Nature’s Paragon”- Natural Warding lasts longer, Spirit Water has one additional charge, and Nature’s Energy grants Swiftness for 5s.
• New Master trait, “Renewing Nature”- Nature Magic skills recharge 20% faster.
• New Adept trait, “Healing Proficiency”- Heal as One now removes 2 conditions. Troll Unguent now removes one condition every 3 seconds, and Healing Spring recharges 20% faster.
• Nature’s Voice moved to Beastmastery.
• Nature’s Bounty removed.
• Evasive Purity removed.
Beastmastery-
• Nature’s Voice merged with Natural Healing.
• Stability and Intimidation Training no longer restrict pet usage.
