It’s not finished so I didn’t bother going back and balancing it out but I got annoyed again so I quit it. Anyways, here’s some imbalanced suggestions to be further ignored. Sorry.

Longbow- Inconsistent DPS, clunky skills, and lackluster secondary effects.
Goal: Increase and stabilize DPS while creating a skill flow (and secondary effects) that allow the Ranger to create and capitalize on key plays.
Changes:
• Rapid Fire replaced with Triple Shot. Triple Shot: Charge (click once to start charge, click again to fire) up an attack that simultaneously fires 3 arrows at your target. The longer the charge the more damage.
Max charge time – 2 1/2s
Max Base Damage – Full charge = 125% Rapid Fire damage. Half charge = 75% Rapid Fire damage. Lowest = 50% Rapid Fire damage.
• Hunter’s Shot now applies 10 stacks of vulnerability again.
• Long Range Shot can now be charged shortly. Long Range Shot travels faster and applies cripple (2s) when fully charged.
• Barrage now interrupts foes every 4th hit.

Sword- Unresponsive skills and clunky effects.
Goal: Improve skill flow and general responsiveness while creating a unique and desirable role.
Changes:
• Slot 1-
Slash: Slash your foe. (Current)
Reverse Slash: Quickly slash your foe in the opposite direction crippling them. (Very fast activation time.)
Debilitating Stab: Powerfully stab your foe dealing more damage per condition on your foe. (Slower, just like thief’s sword final strike.)
• Slot 2-
Hornet’s Sting: Block incoming attacks. If an attack in melee range is blocked attack by inciting hornets to damage and inflict multiple stacks of torment.
• Slot 3-
Serpent’s Strike: Evade attacks while quickly dashing along the ground at your target to strike with a poisoning blow. Leap Finisher.

Axe- Redundant, unimpressive, no skill flow.
Goal: Create a unique and desirable role and improve skill flow.
Changes:
• Slot 1-
Hack: Hack at your foe inflicting vulnerability.
Chop: Chop your foe, again inflicting vulnerability.
Splitblade: Attack your foe dealing additional damage for each boon on them.
• Slot 2-
Pure Strike: Strike your foe dealing damage and removing a boon. If you’re foe still has a boon deal 50% more damage.
• Slot 3-Winter’s Bite: Attack and chill your foe. If you’re foe has 2 or more boons Chill lasts twice as long. Chill: 3s

Shortbow- Lackluster primary as well as secondary effects.
Goal: Create a weapon with skill flow and effects that create a unique role.
Changes:
• Crossfire now also deals additional damage if foe is within melee range of your pet.
• Poison Volley now applies Torment (4s) on hit instead of poison to foes already suffering from poison.
• Quick Shot now applies Lightning Reflexes instead of Swiftness. Recharge Increased to 15s. Moved to 4th slot.
Lightning Reflexes: For 3s attack and move 50% faster and block the next incoming attack. When an attack is blocked Lightning Reflexes ends.
• Crippling Shot moved to 3rd slot.
• Concussion Shot now recharges 50% faster if you interrupt your foe.

Staff- New Weapon
Goal: Create a weapon that gives the Ranger a unique role in large groups and much needed Area of Effect effects without sacrificing Utility skills.
Changes:
• Skill 1-
Wave of Earth: Send a wave of earth out in front of you that causes Bleeding (1s) and cripple (1s) on each foe it hits.
• Skill 2-
Flame Trap: Plant a flame trap at your location that damages and burns foes when triggered.
Duration: 3s
Burning: 2s
Recharge: 10s
• Skill 3-
Viper’s Nest: Plant a trap at your location that damages and poisons foes when triggered.
Duration: 3s
Poison: 4s
Recharge: 15s
• Skill 4-
Frost Trap: Plat a trap at your location that chills foes when triggered.
Duration: 5s
Chill: 2s
Recharge: 25s
• Skill 5-
Dust Trap: Plant a trap at your location that creates a smoke field when triggered.
Duration: 5s
Blind: 1s
Recharge: 35s

Utility skills-
Goal: Create a new set of utility skills to fill the gap left by Traps and add much needed real utility to the Ranger’s line-up.
Changes:
• Nature Magic skills added.
• New Nature Magic Skill- Summon Bees: Summon bees to blind nearby foes. Gain stealth while they are distracted.
Blind- 5s
Stealth- 3s
Breaks Stun
• New Nature Magic Skill- Nature’s Energy: Draw energy from your surroundings using it to refill endurance and cure 2 conditions on yourself and nearby allies.
• New Nature Magic Skill- Spirit Water: Drink water imbued with Nature’s spirit allowing you to instantly revive the next two allies you aid.
Duration: 20s
• New Nature Magic Skill- Natural Warding: Create a line of natural warding at target location. Foes crossing this are immobilized by earth.
Duration: 5s
Immobilize: 3s
• Search and Rescue now applies Protection to your pet and revives at normal speed.
• Signet of the Hunt Active changed functionality. Signet of the Hunt now teleports your pet to your target and your pet instantly strikes them applying Immobilize (1s) and Cripple (5s). Range 1,200.
• Signet of Stone Reduced recharge to 60s.

Healing Skills-
Goal: Add useful secondary healing effects to standard healing skills.
Changes:
• Heal as One now recharges 50% faster if it only heals your pet and 20% faster if it only heals you.
• Troll Unguent now removes one condition when used and one every 4s thereafter.
• Healing Spring is now Ground Targeted. 600 Range.

Traits-
Goal: Revamp traits to create real build diversity instead of dependency on a select few powerful traits.
Changes:

Marksmanship-
• Piercing Arrows moved to adept tier.
• Steady Focus removed.
• Eagle Eye moved to Grandmaster Tier. Eagle Eye now also increases movement speed while wielding a bow by 25%.

Skirmishing-
• Trap Potency functionality changed. Dodging while wielding a staff returns some of the endurance used and Staff skills recharge 20% faster. Moved to Wilderness Survival.
• Trapper’s Expertise moved to Wilderness Survival.
• New Grandmaster Trait “Lightning Defense”. When disabled your endurance is refilled and the incoming disable is negated. kitten Recharge.
• Moment of Clarity now applies Lightning Reflexes to you and your pet instead of Attack of Opportunity.

Wilderness Survival-
• Hide in Plain Sight now applies stealth instead of camouflage.
• Empathetic Bond Removed
• Off-Hand Training moved to Skirmishing.

Nature Magic-
• New Grandmaster trait, “Nature’s Paragon”- Natural Warding lasts longer, Spirit Water has one additional charge, and Nature’s Energy grants Swiftness for 5s.
• New Master trait, “Renewing Nature”- Nature Magic skills recharge 20% faster.
• New Adept trait, “Healing Proficiency”- Heal as One now removes 2 conditions. Troll Unguent now removes one condition every 3 seconds, and Healing Spring recharges 20% faster.
• Nature’s Voice moved to Beastmastery.
• Nature’s Bounty removed.
• Evasive Purity removed.

Beastmastery-
• Nature’s Voice merged with Natural Healing.
• Stability and Intimidation Training no longer restrict pet usage.
