why does this skill needs to changing again?
Changing skills just because it feels like they “should” be different is usually not a good idea. Warrior in general is very strong and stances specifically are some of their strongest utility skills.
Buffing one of the strongest utilities of one of the strongest professions is a bad idea, no matter how logical it seems.

because in its current form, the 8 seconds of stability and swiftness could be easily stolen, stripped, etc. and besides, it is not a true stance.

warrior is strong, no doubt, but at the moment, there are much stronger professions when played right. warrior is just easier to play.

this is a balance request, to make balance stance actually balanced, and not in a pitiful state it is now.
how is this “one of the strongest utilities” as the stability and swiftness can be so easily removed?
also, please get your facts right, warrior is not the strongest profession in the game, the title currently belongs to necromancers and engineers, the true kings and queens of condition damage.
do you have any idea how fast a warrior without berserker stance melts against well executed condition bursts? against skilled necromancers and engineers, the 8 seconds is not enough.
There is no logic to it. Many classes have utilities that grant immunity, they can’t be stripped. In the same utility line many classes also have utilities that grant stability they can be stripped. Stances, cantrips, elixirs, doesn’t matter that is the general rule.

It’s a buff because it makes the skill better.
This doesn’t need to become a discussion about which profession is “the” best. I merely said that warrior is strong and stances are strong. Therefore, it wouldn’t be a great idea to buff a stance.
Imagine someone saying “Yeah, necros are pretty good right now, but come on—staff auto really needs to apply bleeding. It would fit with the rest of the staff skills.” You’d say, “nope, staff is already in a good place right now.” Because it is.
If you do that, then make stances mutually exclusive like in GW1. If you activate a new stance, it cancels the current one.

hmmm yeah i just realized this.
i guess this is due to i never equipped the last stand trait before.
well, last stand is always ready until trigger.
this proposed new balance stance is only ready for 8 seconds for it to be triggered by unfriendly control effects.
I like the idea to rework this “stance”, and make it a real Stance but in the way you want it, its too powerful!
This is why its too powerful:
a) you get 2 garanteed stunbreaks on demand
b) 1 stunbreak and a garantee your opponents wont stun you anymore so you wont get boons, like a hidden stability
c) 1 stunbreak and a garantee your opponents have to waste a stun on you to get rid of your hidden stability
d) if you get stunned at the end of the duration, stun is prevented and you get 8-10 secs stability which increases the possible duration of prevented cc on you up to 20 sec
Making it an unstrippable real stance with right counterplay on basis of awareness is the right way!

My Propsoal:
Balanced Stance
You enter into a balanced stance. Prevent next control effect. Gain Stability and Swiftness for the rest of its Duration if a control effect is prevented.
Duration: 8 s
Stability: 8 s
Swiftness: 8 s
You have to pop before cc occurs, this 8-10 sec hidden stability cant be removed until opponents wasted cc
how about get rid of the Swiftness and just reduce the cooldown.

Its a stunbreak on 40 sek cooldown with 8!! seconds of stability + swiftness.
If my engi would have such a skill i wouldnt have to play warrior right now.
This skill is one of the reasons why warriors are so op atm.
And then the op cries about condi engis and necros? lol. Only warriors have a skill that make them imune to conditions for 8!! seconds. This negates the damage output of this classes and it negates alot of thier defense aka soft-cc, blinds, weakness.
so stop this discussion and be thankful for every patch that does not nerf balanced stance, berserkers stance and last stand, really.
