What if we revert quickness back to 100%
My warrior will kill you in 5 sec with 3 skills.
We’d be back to Frenzy+100B and Haste+PW killing a lot of people before they could react.
it was a good nerf.
head here to discuss wvw without fear of infractions
It was good, but certain skills affected by it should be compensated, still. Like Timewarp, with that undeserving 210 second cool down.
People would QQ even harder about QZ + RF ranger.
Again.

Actually I was thinking over and over… what if quickness, invulnerability and stealth (and invisibility and camouflage for that matter) were to be turned boons?
This would mean much more interesting interaction with strip/corrupt boons, but also with boon duration effects. In turn more consistency into skills (boons and conditions were introduced to reduce amount of effects one player need to remember – lesson learned from guild wars 1 rich enchantment and hex system) and turn player’s attention from UI bars to actual combat and surrounding.
Tons of skills since then drifted off form this idea, here are some of them:
– Unblockable effect from Signet of might active
– A.E.D.
– Endure Pain and Signet of stone active effects
– Impale effect
– Defiant stance effect

Don’t tell anyone but I’d totally exploit this bug called dodge even easier then, would only need to do it once

RF would be so fast one dodge would be enough to totally avoid the skill
[RUN] solo/duo roamer
only to be wasted by auto attacks that go as fast as normal rapid fire, so?
and good luck if you get caught in an immobilize or fear or knockback or whatever and don’t have/aren’t fast enough with stunbreaks/cleanses.
quickness is good the way it is.

Or pop reflects and the zerker dies from their own arrows before they realise ^__^

Nerfing Quickness down from 100% was a great idea at the time.
Nerfing Quickness to 50% was never a good idea at all. Quickness went from hero to zero.
I think that makes it pretty clear that quickness should be at 75%!

Retaliation/Confusion would both become more important, I think – they punish the things Quickness makes happen.
Other than that, it’d pretty much go as the general consensus leans: Some would whine about essentially being insta-downed, others would advise dodging/reflecting, and a lot of people would get snipped off in zergs by Warriors with Killshot, Rangers with Rapid Fire, or basically any other high-damage, long-range skill. Then zergs would start Reflect-chaining before anyone could fire at all in an attempt to stop the onslaught, at which point Quickness Berserkers would drop into melee, and likely be downed shortly after downing one or two enemies.
Edit: Also, personally, a lot of the reason I’ve never touched Quickness skills is the generally long cooldown associated with them. Not sure if they should lower that, though.
