Why would you put a skin like this on anything but a weapon a Necromancer uses? I just don’t get it, is it because you think more money will be spent on BLCs because more people use a GS? What about some semblance of continuity, this skin surely belongs on a Necromancer does it not? I have been waiting for a skin that has effects (crossing doesn’t count because it’s just to subtle) which remotely suits my necromancer 2 Halloween events and still nothing, so kitten ed frustrated right now.

I don’t rmbr seeing effects on the gs skin, i might be wrong, but that sort of skin… if you get a final rest staff, that’s pretty much what you’d want on a necro… lol why shouldn’t we have more halloween spooky vampiric things on other classes? It’s not exclusive to necro because necro can choose to dress all flowery, dye themselves pink if they wanted to! XD

Staves have Final Rest and the Scythe. No harm in giving stuff that is actually halloween-y out to other classes. kitten, i read someone complaining in another thread that the greatsaw wasn’t halloween-y enough, and this is pretty much the perfect answer to that.

I love the bat greatword and the spider bow as well, but seriously, if I cannot use them with my necro, whats the point? The bat GS is hands down the best skin of this years event, and its not available for necros…

Necro’s aren’t the only ones who can use the skin just because its Halloween / spooky themed.

I have the Grinning Gourd Rifle on my Engineer and plan on getting the Chiroptophobia greatsword on my Ranger (as well as the spider longbow… wanted Arachnophobia but that’s now far, far beyond my means with the new crafting mats).

There aren’t many Necro-usable Halloween weapons at all this time around, but that’s more just because there aren’t many skins at all. I mean, seriously, 5 skins? That’s a very small amount. I think that’s the smallest number of new weapons that has ever been added (tied with the original Southsun weapons, I think). Hugely disappointed there isn’t a full set of Halloween weapons, especially since the last weapon set added (the Aether Nightmare weapons) were just recolors of existing skins, and even before that it was the Super Skins which was only a partial set. There should have been ample time to build a full set of Halloween weapon skins based on how fast they were cranking them out earlier this year.

I wasn’t aware that Necromancers had a monopoly Halloween themed skins with bat animations, the more you know…

The problem is that it would have been nice to see a Halloween themed scepter, dagger, axe or any underwater weapon for example. It’s not about monopoly, just a bit disappointing to get only ONE (!) new weapon skin, that a necro can use on Halloween. I get your point, but its a bit sad if you are running a necro, and you are specially waited for this event, because its kind of a home field for them.

Because Batman is obviously not a Necromancer. :P
