So after farming the bosses for 2 hours in the labyrinth I opened by 10-12 champ bags and received all greens and you guessed it bloodstone dust. If I run champs in frostgorge for that long I’m probably going to get about 10 rares or so. What are we killing these for? Are they dropping rare halloween skins?

Last year the bosses in here you could kill I think it was once a day per character. I got about 5-6 exotics all mad kings gear which was cool. But I’m just wondering now what is the point? The clocktower is the same way. I got exotic boots for all my characters last year. This year one pair of gloves. Lunatic inquisition is the same as last year. Seems the only difference is the small mini quest at the beginning in the Charr home city. That’s it? Nothing new till the end of the month?

I always see these A-net haters on here and think they whine about everything but is this feels like they didn’t try. Then with the mat requirements for the special items. Either they have some surprise releases for new quests/games they are keeping secret for now and changing drop rates at a later time or there’s nothing for me to do but wait till the end of the month.

So is anything good dropping for you. Post what you’ve got in the time you’ve spent here.

Yeah I agree, it would be nice to see more “special” drops from the labrynth. But i think the only reason people are grinding it is for the halloween mats. But even those are dropping at an alarmingly low rate.

I farm karma for karma armors or weapons. The only reason.
Last year you could also level alts but now it is only lvl 80 exclusive.

I ran the Frostgorge champ train for 2 hours a couple days ago and got zero rares or exotics (besides a small handful of cores).

Doesn’t seem all that uncommon to open a lot of champ bags and get nothing. Seems more like you’re really lucky if you get 10 rares for 2 hours of Frostgorge champ farming consistently.

Not that it has anything to do with the Labyrinth, mind you. There are a lot less Champs in the labyrinth so obviously its going to be a lot worse overall. I would hope the loot bags from the Labyrinth would have a chance at Halloween weapons, gifts, recipes, ect. Don’t know if that’s actually the case or not. But even if the chance is there, its going to happen less often than getting good loot from the Frostgorge train just from a lot less champs a lot slower.

Pretty sure it uplevels you. You still get smacked around by the mobs pretty good, but I got a few levels on my 50-something last night.

It uplevels you, but unlike the Scarlet Queen series of events it isn’t useful for levelling characters. You hit like a wet noodle although your health is increased.

Disappointing for me, since I was hoping to level some Alts through these events.

Weird because I got 8 levels last night in 2 hours on my nerco…

Id just like to know if that chest you get gives you a shot at holloween weapons.

I seem to get about as many rares from the Labyrinth bags as from FG champ bags.

Nothin but greys, as usual. Half the events don’t drop anything besides a bag of candy, and the Viscount chest is daily? :\

Not only are the drops terribad but there is no merch in there and no repair anvil, forcing the player to either leave and reenter via gate which is a pain in the butt or have players drop them.
I wont go back just because the drops are bad and there isn’t any conveniences for the player.

I don’t think they intend the labyrinth to be a bonus farming spot in the first place.

Because a certain member of the human race who may or may not work for a company that produces games, may or may not have complained about forum posts in some fictional world setting, so they shall not be named, runs the show, you gotta pay to play. Gw2 sold out long ago, don’t expect anything positive, just play wvw and ignore the rng crap.

Little but candy corn and a few random greens for me. Today, I went in there for the ‘kill 50 bits of animated sugar’ daily then left.

Okay so I gave it another shot and spent a good 3 hours in there. Switched to all my alts so they could each get the chest and I got…….Nothing. Just greens. Honestly I don’t know anywhere else in the game where you can kill non stop for 3 hours and not get anything. So yeah I’m done.

The drop rate in there is just bad. I got a Mad King’s Shoulders exotic as a drop though so they are in there, just at a really low percentage.

They pretty much kittened up the drops at the end of the last years Halloween Event.

It seems like the drops are now even worse then in the end of the last year, and in addition to that that they removed the middle Event, and changed the recipes for crafting the Halloween Weapons to require an unreasonable amount of materials (like as in not even having enought of them on the TP for a few Weapons altogether, and it costing more then a Legendary) in addition to them not bringing back any of the former lovely Gem-Store skins and last but not least not even bringing back the Book Hunt as well has made me skip Halloween all together for this year, up to now.

Unless they bring a surprise like they did with the Mad King Dungeon which had nice drop chances, I’ll not even look at it with some other body parts then my Eyes and ignore it even existed at all to begin with.

And they even didn’t incooperate the fact that Exotics are now even less worth and common then they were last year I guess.

Ah and I heard that having the old Gift of Spider for example and trying to complete your Weapon now, won’t work anymore. You’re required to recraft the Gift with the new Materials basically trashing your old Gift. Is that correct?

Wow don’t know which labyrinth you few are talking about but it’s a gr8 place to lvl up. Simply use ranged weaps since it scales you to 80. Your gear and weaps don’t scale but your hp does.
I gained 13 levels since yesterday and all i do is hang back and use range and dodge. Shame it isn’t like last year which had a boss in the center up the hill as well, but watching Thorn and his son fuss at each other makes up for it. GAME ON

Who ‘s talking about leveling. It ’s about drops mate. Most of us have plenty of ways leveling up our alts (if you didn’t maxed every class out by now). For example with a Birthday Experience Scroll – Double Click – 20 Levels.

Aside from that I believe most of us would be fine if all that ‘s dropping are really common Masterwork or Rare skins that are new. They’d be plenty but at least it wouldn’t be just like everywhere else but special as in special like an Event should be (and was before, like last year).

Well, let ’s see if they have a surprise for us.
