those are good ideas and i do like them, i would rather they did not do anything to increase your stats and if they did, make it hardly noticeable. Too much of an increase and you would have people going towards the way of “elitism”
Hmm I’m more oriented to passive buffs than cosmetic skins, so here goes:
Slayer: +X% damage vs. that creature (like the head mounting idea too)
Skillful: +X% exp gain
Salvage Master: +X% chance to get rarer materials/rune/sigil on salvage
Hunter Gather: +X% chance to have an extra gathering use
Combat Mechanic: +X% chance to retain rune/sigil on salvage (stack with salvage master)
Master Crafter: +X% chance for critical success while crafting, or an extra bank or inventory bag slot (above what you can purchase)
Gold Hoarder: +X% extra gold from kills
<Location> Explorer: In your home instance you can view any vista from that region
Dungeon Master/Fractal Frequenter: hmmm maybe -X% damage from enemies while doing dungeons/fractals or a +X% magic find?
<Race> Specialty Armors: Gives you a recipe to craft that races armor to sell on the AH for other races to wear
JPs: +X% movement speed boost
Weapon Master: (like the skin idea but here are some other ideas, don’t know all the weapon skills for each class so I’m trying to be generic)
a weapon rack that lets you store X skins of that weapon (to be grabbed as many times as you want later) or,
a basic: +X% damage when using that weapon or,
+X% block duration when using shield
+X% boon duration when using warhorn
+X% boon duration/channeling speed when using focus
+X% movement speed when using melee weapons
+X% range when using ranged weapons
Like I said I care more about passive benefits than skins, but they should be a nice addition, not a necessity to be good. Honestly I’m just looking forward to a magic find boost (and a speed boost would also be great).
Shown screen shots show that the new armors are for now limited to headgear, shoulder piece and gloves – it would be awesome to bind that to paths of each dungeon.
Doing CoF p1 unlock the ability to obtain (for gold, karma laures, etc.) elite CoF headgear skin.
Doing CoF p2 unlock the ability to obtain (for gold, karma laures, etc.) elite CoF shoulder skin.
Doing CoF p3 unlock the ability to obtain (for gold, karma laures, etc.) elite CoF gloves skin.
Dungeon Master gives You special emote – “rolling the dice” with big, holographic (or gohstly – will be more awesome) dice rolling close to the player (same like dollies rank emote etc.) that will grant whole party random bonus. Bonus like +1% magic find / +1% gold drop etc. – really small, joke like stuff.
Usable once per character per dungeon/instance. In open world, working only as an emote without bonuses.

I like the ideas in this thread better than the ones in the preview so far
