In short, the new animation for opening a black lion chest is unbelievably annoying. I would really like it if you guys would revert to the very simple interaction around opening a black lion chest.

It should not take 5 seconds to open a chest.

I can’t believe that someone thought that animation was a good idea considering the general feedback of the chests.

Mmmmm, idk. I think it’s more honest now with the 3 dice. It makes it more obvious that it’s a gamble box.

I would not be surprised that it plays better in China since they are use to, or at least accept upfront, that these type of “grab bags” are luck of the draw.

I like the idea/the style but the execution is kinda sloppy. You see the items the moment you open the chest in your inventory.

I like both actually. The new ui for chests makes it seem a little more…exciting to open a chest rather than just having items just appear in my inventory. And the hearts is much better then getting a mail each time amd having to Open mail window, then mail, then Collect money. Just my thoughts

The animation could stand to be sped up and that “flicker/glow” thing it does until you acknowledge it is annoying – flicker/glow once or twice, then stop – I MIGHT be preoccupied.

I think it’s more fun than just depositing stuff in your inventory. Plus, it highlights how your odds aren’t any better than playing slots.
