Q:

Hey, why is the gem store not working, or the trading? Is this part of a server maintance thingy or whatsoever… come on, fix it.

Have you tried restarting the game? Works for a lot of people.

i tried all, i deleted my char(lvl 20 so it was no waste), i changed the server, i loged, reloged, changed the ingame language. nothing did help.

I’m sorry to ask but why would you delete a char and change server?

It seems like this is more of a tech issue then an account issue. You might want to try posting there. They will also need to know if you get an error message.

I’m not tech savvy but I have read that you might have to give permission in your firewall to be able to use the TP.

i dont pay 1k gems for a server change. of course i delete the char. why changing a server? just because i can and probably it will fix some issues, i do not know it any better.
and no error messages came up. in fact, nothing came up. after clicking the O button,
the only thing usable are the tabs in that section. all good for nothing.

Here’s the dev answer from a previous thread

Hi. There are many factors that can cause problems with the Trading Post and/or Gem Store. In order to diagnose your specific problem, we’ll need you to submit a customer support ticket, please. Also, please include any relevant information, such as your operating system, your PC specs, and firewall info.
We’re sorry that you’re experiencing this issue and hope we can help you.
Before you submit your ticket, you can try clearing your cache. To do this, you will want to close GW2 and:
1. Click the Windows start button.
2. Search for temp
3. Find any gw2cache folders and delete them.
Relaunch the game.
I hope this fixes it for you, but if it doesn’t, please follow my initial instructions.

Looks like there’s some cache files that can get into a bad state. You shouldn’t need to delete characters or change servers.
