Guild Wars 2

I had posted some rare daggers I crafted on the Trading Post 2 days ago. After a couple of them not selling, I clicked remove (approximately 12 hours later) so I could repost them. They vanished. They are not on the pickup tab on the TP, not in my backpack and not in my bank.

I sent a bug request in game as well.

Anyone else having this issue?

My guess is that something happened that caused your local trading post files to become corrupt. Unfortunately a normal repair operation doesn’t repair the trading post files. It’s a bit of an involved process to do it manually.

I’ve gotten a couple reports of this over the last day. When the rest of the trading post developers get in tomorrow, I’ll ask them to look into it. If my suspicion is correct, then they will be able to fix yours and others’ without asking you to do scary things to your files.

I’m sorry that you’re not able to sell right now.

For those who are having the “blank sell tab” on the trading outpost, I found a Fix…

Simply delete the file Local.dat in your Guild Wars 2 folder located in :

“[drive]:\Users\[user_name]\Documents\Guild Wars 2”

Not working

My trading post window was working this morning after the servers came up, but now the window is blank again.
Works fine on my laptop with ATI video card and on my roommates nVidia gtx 560.

I have a support ticket in for it since I’ve been having issues with this window since before launch.

i lost a few items i was trying to sell, by clicking “remove”. they still haven’t reappeared.

Since last night the prices have been incorrect when you search for items on the Trading Post. Once you click on the item the price is shown correctly; it’s only wrong in the search page. The prices there seem to be fixed to what they were at some point last night.

Possibly related: The prices also aren’t updating in the browser version of the TP (http://tradingpost-live.ncplatform.net/authenticate?account_name=Guild Wars 2) – they show the same prices as last night. GW2 Spidy (http://www.gw2spidy.com/item/19697) uses that website to update and the prices seem to have been broken since around midnight last night (patch time, perhaps?).

Hopefully this can help you fix the problem!

Still lost 1+ gold trying to buy copper (by placing a buy order).

Hi,. I’ve noticed the transaction history page is only one page long, i.e. it has not scroll bar so I cant see most of my buy/sells?

Is this a problem with my install or as intended?

- If you post more items than 1 page can fit, you expect to see a “next” and “previous” page button, it seems missing on the my transactions page. (as said on the previous post^^)
- “Items I’ve sold” seem to update, but not properly, can’t seem to figure out what’s going wrong here. Items i’ve sold last sometimes come after items I sold before that.
- Missing thumbnails of the items every now and then.

i can’t seem to preview any items on the trading post. that’s the main thing keeping me from buying armor from it, and even dyes (a dye might seem good/bad until you try it out).

the preview option should be implemented on the trading post ASAP.

and there aren’t any ways of searching for armor specifically to your class, which is rather silly. why would i want to browse through pages of light armor to find a few medium armors?

Yes I can use TP in the 8/25 , and few days ago I used it for one more.

But after you said TP was fixed and fine, I had no longer successfully opened it.

Hey Anet. Yesterday, while the TP was buggy, i removed an item i had for sale( Exotic weapon, too resell at a lower cost).

I still haven’t recieved anything yet was wondering if im in a que somewhere or bugged out.

Not exactly a bug, but we can filter armor by level, rarity, availability, and piece… but not weight class? Seems like the most important of all filters got forgotten for armor.

Hey all my BLTC tabs are still blank even though I ran the game as administrator since 25th.
Tried relogging, restarting, reinstalling awesomioum_process, repairing the client but its still kitten blank.

Still getting ‘Error attempting to sell’

it worked just fine yesterday, but at the end of the day start to get messy and everything was blank, today i log in and it still happens,…. sell is blank and buy is grey out…

I sold a Dawn of rage, 50g, the fee was 2.5g, but when I went to retrive it, I only got 45g. (2 times the fee, but I already payed the fee, so it was 3 times the fee)
It happened me a couple times. Whenever I sell something I have to pay the fee and I got 2 times the fee less of the item.
That happened in “meet the highest buyer”. I don’t know if it also happens with selling it normally.

I put a bunch of items up for sale that I ended up removing so I could relist them at lower prices. I removed these items just before the TP went offline yesterday and never received them in my pickup window. The items did not sell and are seemingly completely gone. It has been over 24 hours now and I am assuming I have lost these items.

Seems that people who cancelled items in auction or bids placed, have not been refunded. I am still waiting on my 1g30s a bid I cancelled…

I tried buying a Mini Polar Bear from Black Lion Trading company’s Trading Post but when I pressed buy it gave me a network error, then no Mini in my Inventory or at Pick up but my money (28 Silver 99 Bronze) is gone Plz help me!

I would also like to know if items and money from the disappearing magic act yesterday will be reimburse/reappear or are we going to have to just move on?

Hello! I write here because of: I put on an item on the trading post with over 1 gold value. I can find it on the selling list on TP but not in my menu: Items I’m selling.

It doesn’t appear there and can’t remove it or do with it anything. Same with some other items! It’s so hard to find any goodies so it could be good if you can fix it. Thanks!

Had the same problem. I updated the drivers for the video card and put some of the critical updates for Windows. What exactly needs to be set because I can not put the right 38, but then it worked.

Navigation: Very Low Priority

I cannot find a “back” button within the trading post. For example, when opening the Trading Post the first screen is Top…..Items. However, after clicking on one, say “vial of weak blood”, there is no return navigation.

Moreover, clicking on the main Trading Post icon on the right does nothing. One has to click on another, e.g., “Sell icon,” then again on the trading post icon to get back to the top level menu.

I’m still missing 16 Bone Shards since 9/5/2012 6:00am. I waited the “5 hours” that was said earlier this morning for the items to be delivered.

Still waiting… Or please return the 12s if you can’t deliver the items.

Hello. I’ve had two separate profits disappear today when using the pick up tab in the trading post. First was about 40 silvers, the second about 25 silvers. I clicked on take all profit, but the coin simply never arrived in my bag while the amount in the pick up tab disappeared.

Has anyone else experienced this?

May we get a situation report on what is going on with the lost items from cancelling items from the trading post please? Very much appreciated.

Hello I have been buying and selling unidentified dyes and everything was fine until today. I noticed that I am not being returned the amount it says I should.

I sold 22 dyes @ 5s 97c and paid a fee of 6s 57c that was deducted from my money on hand. I should have made a return of 1g 31s 34c and it only returned 1g 18s 24c. Where is the missing money going?

I tried it twice to affirm my suspicions. It seems to be a bug, please fix =)

If you need screenshots I can do again but it’s getting costly =/

You get dinged twice in fees.

I’m still missing about 6-8g from buy orders i cancelled, it’s making things very tough considering that’s pretty much all i have. The TP is currently working fine for me and i believe i did receive a cheeseburger i ordered during the time the TP was bugging out, but not my cancelled buy orders.

edit: just to clarify, these buy orders were cancelled when this problem first popped up 2 nights ago (before the emergency maintenance), still no sight of the gold.

big probs buying and selling – on creating buy orders the order never appears to go through and after clicking a couple of times I now have several times more than i wanted on order. Taken out lots of cash in fees too. Also sales appear to have gone through but I have not received any money for them

Q: I was wondering if anyone knew if the trading post worked the same way as email. With email, you can only have 10 in-game emails from friends in your in-box before it’s full and you have to delete to receive any more.

Currently you can only see 10 items up for sale that you’ve listed.

Does that mean:

A: You can only sell 10 items at a time, and any over that amount vanish or overwritten?
B: You can only sell 10 items at a time, and as those items sell the rest of the items you’ve put up for sale fill the queue?
C: All of your items will appear for sale, you can only just see your most recent 10?

Any feedback from the devs would be greatly appreciated!

This is pretty much my problem at the moment. I clicked the place order button and it did not appear to do much, so I went ahead and pressed it a few more times. After some time all those orders went through, so I went ahead and cancelled them. The gold I spent from doing this has yet to return to me, but many of the items I bought are slowly trickling through after quite some time now. I kinda which the gold from cancelling buy orders came through rather than the items…

The money from trading post is coming less.

I sold only one item for 35 silver and 40 copper but when I go to pick up item tab, the money for collection was 31 silver and 86 copper. This happened in the last 2 hrs on my account. Please check, I have left the money in the account too if you need to check.

Rodeo that just sounds like the fee’s. its 5% to list then 10% on sale.

Yes, Vista64 ultimate, Once (and only once) in one of the late stress tests the gem store interface and such were working fine for me.

At the time I didn’t mess with the feature much because I was stress testing requested zones and didn’t want to buy gems before release.

Doing transactions to craft things for profit and skillups ended up in me losing all my money. I’ve placed orders to buy some materials but all the money was gone and no materials delivered. The “things im buying” doesnt show anything nor does the “things i’ve purchased/sold” show anything

Well this seems like an odd one to me, but I’ve listed a lot of items on the trading post, each time the item is sold I get the correct amount. None of the items have been under 30c. At any rate, I noticed something odd just a little while ago when I checked to see if any more of them had sold: I seemingly had a 6c deposit of money. Now for one, I’m selling nothing that would give me such a tiny gain, and two, I’ve not sold anything for quite a few hours now. My fiance just checked the trading post, and he had placed several Black Lion Chests, now they have disappeared. He never got paid for them, they aren’t in his sell or buy list. They are completely gone. When I saw that I had such an odd transaction show up, he checked his returns. Sure enough, every few minutes he saw a 6c transaction being deposited, yet he was selling nothing for that price. Could you look into this one? I’ll gladly chuck out this copper return if it’s a problem.
