I bought a dye pack using gems and i never got it and it took my payment of gems so now im out 200 gems with no dye pack just wondering if anyone else had any problems like this and if they were resolved
I sold some things on the trading post right before the maintenance was announced, but my pickup window didn’t have any money in it afterwards. Not a big deal, probably not more than 50 silver. But still kinda a bummer.
The trading post appears to be incorrectly fulfilling newest orders first.
Steps to replicate:-
On two different accounts, create buy orders for any item with the same sell price.
On a third account, sell that item at the listed price.
Observe that the newest order is fulfilled first.
Expected behaviour:-
The older order should be fulfilled first.
Rationale:-
First-come-first-served is standard behaviour for this kind of trading. In particular, if newest orders are fulfilled first there is greatly reduced incentive to be the first to undercut/outbid.
Yesterday everything was OK,but since evening I can’t buy items400 because “Buy” button is inactive. And can’t sell items,because “Sell on” window is blank. (( I wonder what happened.

Whenever I search for items in the Trading Company, the filter never seems to work right. Even when I attempt to filter by level, everything still shows up.
Additionally, though this is more of a suggestion, you should be able to narrow searches in the armor section by armor class — light, medium, or heavy. I remember in the beta there was a check box to show only results you can equip; this would be a fine alternative, as I hate having to sift through light and heavy armor for my Thief.
Also lost some silver, about 21s actually purchasing a total of 3 unidentified dyes.. Received some sort of internet connection error and screenshotted it the final time, no issues with internet even after receiving the error. Game was working fine otherwise. Lost the silver, no dyes nor was it even listed on my bought tab. Put in a support ticket for it.
I cannot buy anything. I can see the trading post, but there is no visual depress on the Buy button (if there’s any to begin with). I’ve waited, then I’ve checked my money to see if the purchase went through without notification and nothing. It does not respond to me or have any affect.
I’m not too bothered, but I’d like to know why this is happening as no-one in map chat was helpful whatsoever. It’s been doing this ever since trading post came up for me (1 day ago)
The trading post is incorrectly not charging a listing fee for creating a buy order, and incorrectly charging for selling into one.
Steps to replicate:-
Buy orders:-
Place a buy order
Observe that no fee is deducted
Selling into a buy order:-
Place a buy order
On a different account, sell into that buy order
Observe that the 5% listing fee is debited from your inventory (in addition to the 10% selling fee deducted from the sale price)
Expected behaviour:-
The 5% listing fee should be charged for placing a buy order. The 5% listing fee should not be charged for selling into a buy order.
Rationale:-
Conceptually the fee is a “listing fee”. A player selling into a buy order is not placing a listing and so should not be charged. A player placing a buy order is placing a listing and so should be charged.
The current behaviour produces two undesirable results:-
A player with an empty wallet cannot fulfil an existing sell order.
Speculative buy orders are free, causing both market distortions and increased server load.
Notes:-
This report does not refer to the 10% transaction fee that is deducted after an order is fulfilled before the sale proceeds are placed in the pick up tab. This report only refers to the 5% listing fee that is charged upon creating an order.
I just sold about 10 silver worth of crafting materials (about 60 Jute Scraps and 40 Copper Ore). The Trader interface confirmed that the items were sold (although I didn’t click “OK”), I confirmed that the items were no longer in my bags, and that the items were not in my bank bags.
I teleported across Black Citadel to get to a trader NPC to pick up the money I just made, and there was only 2 copper there.
I double checked that the items sold, it even said so on the Trader history of Items I’ve Sold (although the times posted were all “minutes ago” despite some sales being over 30 minutes ago).
I submitted a bug report, but I know that’s not going to get personalized attention. So I’m putting this here.
I’d be willing to eat the 10 silver lost, but those mats represent a good chunk of time and salvage kits lost to an accounting glitch.
I don’t know how many other people have had this happen to them. This isn’t the first time for me (although it is the most expensive yet). This is just a major bummer and a pain in the a** right before heading off to sleep.
I have been having the same problem as well for 5 days now. (I have not tryed the server transfer though). I have sent 3 or 4 tickets with no responce yet. It seemed to have started when I sent some gear to a friend that was still in a starter zone. She never recieved the mail, and my mail has been locked up ever since. Same exact problem with the auction house, I can buy items, but cannot sell anything at all.
the same thing just happened to me. I sold a bunch of 10-slot bags and none of the money showed up. They are all listed in my transaction history as being sold, for the correct amount.
I was going to use the money earned from this one sale to fund a massive crafting session over the next couple of days..
It’s extremely disappointing that all the time I’ve spent collecting all thatkittenwool has been pointless now..
I don’t even know if I want to keep playing, what’s the point if everything you’ve worked on just gets tossed out?
It is impossible to restrict the level requirement of a research. This prevents users to easily find what they are looking for.
1. Log in the game and select your character.
2. Press “O” to open the trade post and select “Buy in Trade Post”.
3. Click on “Show Terms” and write two different value in the level restrictions fields.
4. Click on “Submit”.
5. Notice that that level restriction option is not working properly.
The level restriction option should work properly.
That is very odd if true. If the demand is high enough you could be stuck at the back of the queue forever once you have missed your chance at the front!
I tested it on a quiet market with a big buy-ask spread. My orders were the only ones available at the price.
However, it’s possible to observe this behaviour even with many thousands of items available/demanded at the specified price:-
Create many many orders for Iron Ore at the current price of 4c.
Observe that some of them are fulfilled immediately, others remain unfulfilled indefinitely
There are many many tens of thousands of units of Iron Ore currently demanded at 4c and new orders are created with sub-second frequency. What should happen is that a new order for Iron Ore at 4c should go to the back of the queue and be fulfilled once all the previous orders have been fulfilled.
The observed behaviour indicates that the trading post is not correctly using FIFO. It indicates that the trading post is either fulfilling random orders (unlikely), or using LIFO.
This happens from time to time as the server is getting constantly battered, Give it a bit and try again. As ArenaNet have said they ARE trying to increase capacity.
I am not sure of the current status.
It was bugged until yesterday but was fixed today while I used it a few hours ago.
You may want to specify the item and attach a screen shot with the in-game bug report if it still happens to you so they can figure out how it happens in specific cases.

I purchased 329 Bolts of Jute according to my transaction viewer yet I have only been in possession of 267 since then. I lost around 35s worth of items. This needs to be fixed.
My in-game mail doesn’t allow me to send mail. Any time I attempt to send mail to anyone results in the error “Processing previous mail.”. I also cannot put items up on the trading post to sell, it replies with the error “Error attempting to sell.”
This is extremely frustrating as I can’t even send items to my friends and my personal guild doesn’t have a bank yet.
Currently experiencing this problem as well. Except i lost about 3 gold overall in items. My transaction history shows I purchased my items but doesn’t registered I sold any of my items even though these items are not in my inventory or my selling transaction currently.
Yup experiencing the same issue, am missing about 6g worth of buy orders i cancelled. Having experienced this in the past though i’m sure it will come through eventually
Completely the same thing has been happening to me. I placed a buy order to buy 100 gold ore. According to the transaction log, they were bought in stacks of 73, 18 and 9, but only 91 were available in the Pick Up tab. The last 9 just disappeared. Or right now I bought 200 jute scraps and received just 179 – confirmed through the log that there really was a 21 piece stack, which is probably the one that went missing.
It seems like there is a limited view of your transactions like “Item’s I’m Byuying” for example… It only shows a maximum of 10 items and you cant switch between pages as a consequence that you cant cancel older auctions.
A fix would be appreciated or am I the only one with that problem?
Im on the same boat, I have only noticed this for about the past 2-3 days for me though.. It sucks that I cant make money off the TP because I receive that error
