Yeah, it started off being slow, then stopped all together. It hasn’t taken my money but neither have I got my shiny new armor! Or my cooking ingredients.
same here, was buying insignia’s kept hitting by it would go grey then nothing. then noticed it took silver everytime i hit buy but still nothing……
only lost like 25s but still this is bs
Edit: just received all funds lost back and available for pickup from tp hope everyone else gets there share back.
add my name to the list too. took my money, and only told me about half the time that i actually got the item i was trying to buy, so i end up buying more of items than i had intended. this mostly happened on crafting mats.
lost 4g as well to and order that didn’t go through but took my money, im sure they will get things refunded, 4g is about $20 worth of gems, submitted bug as well
I really hope they fix this soon or at least let us know they’re aware of the problem and are working on a fix, I can’t use the trade at all, and I really hope the money and items lost will be there on fix.
Same story for me! Finished up an area, got 2 lvl70 exotics and sold them in the trading post. they were sold instantly and i never got any money for it!
Yup same thing happend to me. Just lost a bunch of gold at the trading post. You’ll lost your gold when buying or selling items. The items don’t appear in your transaction history either.
I’ve lost about 1.5g in total. It seems to be a bug, I had pruchased 90 bone chips for around 29 silver. It took my money but never delivered the bone (yes they were available). I had also bought a rare weapon for around 5 silver, never got that either.
When I went to go get 30 silver I had gained in selling from the Trading Post, It actually never gave it to me when I clicked “take all”. It just ate it…
Another thing I noticed was that during my completion of Sparkfly Fen, I had a drop from a monster that was a gold and a green. I went to go grab it and it instantly disappeared. I’m wondering if these two are connected in anyway.
Bought 5 Glob of Ectoplasm today at 14:35-14:40 (CEST) for ~1g, lost the gold, but the globs neither showed up on items bought nor on the item gained tab.
I lost 6 gold and 80 silver trying to order something which failed and when I check the order tab (What I’m Buying from the Transactions tab) it says No Results..
Yep another one here! Sold quite a few items but my 50 silver didn’t come through!! I wantz my moneyz areana net :P haha. Also reading through this thread and i haven’t seen a single comment made by a developer/ admin
During this bit of Trading Post lagg I lost about 4 gold. Buy orders were placed, money was taken (way after the orders were placed). With the lagg I stopped trying to purchase items with near 13 gold in my inventory. Five or so minutes afterwards the game had reduced me to 8g80s, I didn’t get the items, and my gold is gone. The TP is working now but still no items or gold back.
Now that I can post on the forums I have to say this has happened to me before and I never got a refund from the past experiences for the lost gold. I have no idea how much I have lost over the course of my play, but I bet it is at least 10 gold.
Just experienced this too. I bought a bunch of crafting materials; some came through pickup, some did not, but the coin for all of them was taken. I sincerely hope there are records of the transactions, especially those that aren’t displayed under “My Transactions”, so that refunds can be made/items can be picked up.
Same experience here Gokki. I placed two orders for the same item, two yellow/rare greatswords and two yellow/rare longbows (weapons mid-40s and 50), but only one of each was delivered. Got network error message for both transactions after the money was deducted as if they were bought.
Tonight I tried buying an Adept’s manual. The “buy” button greyed out after pressing it, but no sale confirmation and nothing delivered. Tried closing market screen and attempted twice more, with no results. The buying price was deducted all three times.
(Side note: I guess I just don’t understand why the market wasn’t tested more in beta. There should’ve been more extensive periods, rather than the short, limited stress tests and roughly one beta weekend per month. This is a common complaint against most MMOs not doing anywhere near the beta testing they should be doing. Expense is a huge factor, but in this case Arenanet had a huge pile of pre-purchase money.)
No one in my guild seem to have this problem and by judging the lack of replys, neither does anyone else.
Does anyone have any idea what could be the cause of this? I’m really at loss here.
For example, does corrupted or misinstalled gw2.dat file be to blame?
Same happened to me. Tried to buy some Molten Slivers while they were low in price and when I clicked “Buy”, the items didn’t show as being bought. The “Buy” button also didn’t grey out, so I figured it was a misclick. Clicked the “Buy” button again to no avail, thinking maybe I needed to get back to Lion’s Arch to make it work, for whatever reason suddenly.
Got to Lion’s Arch and it seems that the entire map of people were going berserk due to their gold being lost. I looked in my bag to find out that my original 86 Silver had gone down to just 12 Silver. Seems everyone is losing major money right now. Would definitely hope that the losses will be compensated for everyone.
same problem here i lost my gold idk but i thought i was lagged cause i didnt get that green background with msg “successful purchase” something like that so i keep hitting buy and i realize its burning my gold and didnt give me the item the item dont show in the “pick up” thing tab … please fix this and gimme my gold back
just lost 1g from trying to buy a shortbow, clicked okay a few times .. figured it wasn’t working so i closed it looked into my inventory, all my money was gone.
