When they were testing the trading post nearly a week ago, this same problem occurred to me as well. I clicked ‘buy’ too many times because nothing was happening. All my money was drained and no items were delivered.

A day later, all my items were delivered for as many times as I clicked ‘buy’. So this problem has occurred before and the items bought were eventually delivered or refunded. Unfortunately, many of you probably bought way more than you intended.

Hopefully this may quell some fears.

Been browsing through the forums but no one seems to encounter the problem I had so I decided to open this thread.

In the Trading Post, under the My Transactions tab, when I tried to view “Items I am currently selling” or “Items I had sold”, it is always showing only 10 items. At that point of time, I am sure I am currently selling more than 10 items but I cant seem to find any way to see all my items as the first page only showed 10 items and there is no options to go to a next page. When i removed some of the items there, my older posted items start to fill up the 10 slots which clearly shows that I am selling more than 10 items and the page is just not showing.

So is this a bug or is there a way for it to show all my items?

Or, it could be that you are experiencing the same bug that many others are experiencing and describing, in which you place an order and the trading post fulfills that order, with items showing in you “Items I Have Bought” filter, but these items do not show up in the Pick-Up Tab to be received.

Keran is right about the 15% fee. The 5% posting fee shows up when you post the item to sell, but the additional 10% comes off the back end after the sale is made. The extra 10% was a surprise to me. I may have just missed it, but I did not see that described in the in-game interface.

Today, I bought 2800 gems and ever since then I can’t purchase anything from TP. I can’t buy things from the TP with my gems or with normal silver. When I click “buy” it goes greyed out as if it’s processing the request but then goes back the normal state and nothing appears in the pick-up tab. Help!

Can’t buy/sell anything either. Buy/sell buttons are greyed out no matter what.

I am not able to buy/sell anything either, and the buttons are also greyed out. Also my chem count is shown as “…” instead of the number of gems i own.

Also could not purchase an extra character slot after i just purchased 800 gems through he exchange. But was able to buy an extra slot in my bank. But again doesn’t show my remaining 200 gems.

Yeah same thing is happening to me and it’s really annoying as I want to level crafting.

Also found another thread in the bugs forum where people where saying the same thing was happening to them.

I think a global trading post was a really bad idea.

Stop clicking “Buy” . There is a lot of backorder / lag and I was, unpleasantly; surprised to find 1h after clicking buy that all my order had gone through ( which led to another problem : these orders disapearing and your objects never being sent )

Win7 x64 here with the blank BLTC windows. I ran the repair and it did not work. So, duh, run as administrator… All fixed

Anyway not even got money or anything and item ain’t listed either or in my bags, Just vanished.

I don’t really mind but i am slightly bit anoyed.

Follow up: After going to Lion’s Arch on my home world (instead of overflow), I could buy plenty of new items (full level 75 green sets of armor, weapons and jewelry) and they would show up right away. The missing 3 accessories are still not there, 3 hours later.

If lost a lot off money asswell posting items that sell for much.

Any update? Shall we ticket for the money or something or whats happening?

Same thing happened to me 5 hours ago. Bought (or so I thought) stacks of mats, 150 each. Only for about 1 gold… still annoying to lose it though.

I’m only lvl 40, so it made a dent in my wallet.

One can only hope, that they are logging transactions.

i had this happen to me as well but when i looked under the pick up tab my gold was there just moved out of my inventory

Hi, I am aware there’s problems with Trading Post, but I haven’t been able to buy from trading post since the three day head start. The buy button is just greyed out and unselectable. I’ve tried logging out, different characters, changing quantities, selecting different available items, but it is just constantly greyed out. When selecting something the buy button will be selectable for a split second, it will flash selectable then grey out. And i do make sure that I have enough currency to buy whatever is needed, but no matter what , it’s greyed out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’m sure plenty of people have been mentioning this issue since it was all over Map chat on my server this morning, but I was hoping for an update.

I bought items listed on the Trading Post and received nothing when I went to pick them up. It took my money but no items came through.

Will we have the items when TP comes back up from maintenance?
If not, will we get a gold refund?

I spend 2/3 of my total savings that I have been working hard for to see it disappear.

I’m just looking for a quick update on the situation.

it sent about half of the gold in my trade box but not the items I had tried to remove off the trade and it’s not in the for sale tab, still missing half my money so I’m hoping they still fixing it!

You didn’t see the other billion threads about this already?

Hi Gw2 Community & Staff! it’s my first post in this forum, so don’t be rude, please. I’ve already reported this bug ingame, but I want to be sure that someone reads it (No offence intended.)

So, few days ago In the ‘Fissure of Woe’ EU server, while I and my friend were in the same party in the Wayfarer Foothills, maybe an overflow version, we trade some stuff via mail. (I’m giving as mach data as I can.)
Nothing happened, but when other guildmates tried to mail me smething, their mails never arrived to me. Nor mine to them.
In this way we lost 4 silver 2 Green equipments and about 100 Iron ore.
My ingame name is Kauthros Vijzbarkas, if it will help.

Another big issue happened today. I was buying [Bone Shard] at the Black Lion Trade Post when the ‘Buy’ button freezed. My intent was to buy 3-6 of them (1s each), so I clicked a few times.
Than my founds lowered by 34s, more or less.
I checked in the ‘income’ box, and it results I bought nothing. I’ve looked up the ‘Things I’ve Bought’ log, and only 3 Bone Shards were registered.
So, Is there a way to repair this loss?
Or are those money/mats/equipment lost forever?

I’ve been having the same problem. I’ve tryed to buy different kinds of items but nothing seems to work. But still at the same time some other people confirmed that they could buy items normally. How this problem only appears on some people but not all?

So, this morning I went on to buy single superior rune of the trader so I can get that +25% on magic find, alongside my previous four same runes. The buy button didnt work,so I left it. I asked a friend later to buy one rune for me since it worked for him, and not for me.
When I got on later, I found additional 2 runes on pick-up and all of my money drained away as if I made multiple purchases. Now I’m scared of getting more money which could end up taken away if there are more “purchases” standing by.

I lost 7g and 225 gems on trading post… been a week now and i still havent got it back.!!!

So I have a slight issue. I was purchasing items on the Black Lion Trading Company
and I found this handsome Mini Ice Elemental:

the miniature costed 17 silver. I purchased it

well so i thought. The money was deducted from my gold amount. but no mini waiting for me to pick up from the Trading company.
How do I get my money back? or get my miniature?

Hi, lost some gold purchasing lvl 80 exotic berserker, same than Gokki.9574 The “things ive purchased” didn’t show anything, lost all my lvl 1-80 farm/grind in those gear, now i’m ungeared and poor (30 silver coins), lost all my HOPE in this game…

Had the same thing happen to me this morning. I was able to purchase 100 Seasoned Wood Logs w/o any issues. I was able to purchase 30 Venom Sacs w/o issues… however, when I tried to purchase 30 Vial of Blood, I ended up losing around 2g 44s.

Albeit, I shouldn’t have clicked the purchase button as many times as I did; however, we were having issues w/ the Trading Post the other day where it just lagged out, but didn’t take all my money.

Please help!

I have had the identical same problem, I purchased a 2H sword for 38S, the cash was deducted but I received an error saying that my system had lost its internet connection, please try again.

Cash was not refunded, item not delivered.

Have raised a ticket, but no response yet.

That’s the reason BLTC is on maintenance right now.

When the TC is down, I too saw the Down for Maintenance image. So running as administrator may not have fixed the issue.

If Anet wants to take the effort to Ban and suspend people for trying to make money in this game due to bugs, then I hope they have the same force and urgency in bringing all our legit items and money back to the players. Goes BOTH ways Anet, this ISNT a issue to take lightly either or to say, sorry your loss…

Lost 1 g trying to buy something. Never got the item

I do not have the money to do it.

I ran a repair of the city. I dropped a lot of money 2g.
I was left with just 48 copper.

i’m placing orders for 32s for 200 items, i received only 104 items, and the money is gone. When selling 200items i should get 40s-2s fee, but i only get 36s.

The 1st thing you mentioned is a bug, and is one that I experienced as well. Made a purchase order for 180 items, order was completed but only received 117 from the Pick-Up Tab. Frustrating.

The 2nd thing you mentioned is not a bug. There are 2 fees related to the use of the Trading Post. The 5% upfront posting fee which is not refunded if you cancel the sell order. If the sell order is completed, the Trading Post takes an additional 10% off the backend. So, you said that you sold items for a total of 40sp. The 2sp fee is the up-front 5% posting fee which comes out of you current coin in inventory, not from the sale. You received 36sp in return after the sale completed, which is the 40sp minus the 10% backend fee (4sp). This is working as intended.

There have been many additional reports of a bug similar but reversed to the 1st you mentioned, in which an individual sells an item but receives no coin within the Pick-Up Tab as a result of the sale.

Both seem to be inconsistent, as some items seemed to make it to the Pick-Up Tab and some were lost. I just hope there is some log of these transactions and some way to get it settled. I lost a lot of coin just as others did.

i lost 3 gold, and earned 14 copper.

Now the TP is open, but still without my money/items………………………….

Hopefully they get things situated soon. I really want my mini <3

Same here bought 4 sigils of the Vampirism – 1.2gold and my gold is lost + nothing in the pick up … now i haven’t enought money even to portal and no sigils sux

The Trading Post is back up and over 5 gold is gone. I have no buy orders. I have nothing to pick up. And yet the gold just vanished. This needs to be restored. It’s entirely not fair for ArenaNet to charge people real money to buy gold or have them spend time earning it only to have to disappear to poor bugging.

7g worth of cancelled buy orders up in smoke, here’s hoping the money comes through eventually ;__;

Had things for sale and things i bought.. before i realized it things were going missing. 1-2 items went through but as for the bulk of things i bought for crafting. they disappeared. i had money in the TP i went to pick up . it cleared in the TP but nothing transfered into my account. Vanished. Please help. its imaginary money but thats what i need to play the game. ty for your time -Jam

Join the club Just lost 2 g today due to same TP bug. Seems they needed few more Beta Tests.

Could we please request that you close the Trading Post while this issue is under investigation? It is now clear that it is not working as intended, although only affecting a certain amount of users.
However, users who are not aware of this issue will only experience it after the incident has occured and therefore generate more tickets.
Could we also please request that you make this issue public on this forum, such as a sticky post and follow-ups, so that users may be aware of the current state of the incident?

Edit: If the issue has indeed been solved, could you please inform us on the outcome of the bugged transactions experienced by users (lost gold, items, etc.) so that we may know what to expect and that we may begin using the Trading Post safely once again?

I had a similar issue. From what I have experienced, the textfield cannot track fast input.
So if you type very quickly 2 and 0 for 20, it is not tracking the 0 for the amount you want to buy, but it’s still calculating the price for 20 – for whatever reason.
They took the TP offline again, so I hope they noticed it’s not working, and I really hope they will get it running soon.

I guess I can kiss my 4g goodbye, reallykitten off.

Trading Post is having a fit, took all my things too

Did a search for “rune of monk”, “rune of the monk”, and just “monk”. No results for any of them. Went through runes manually, didn’t see it. Not like it’s unavailable or anything, I just can’t find it.
