As someone who lists almost every item I get on the TP, can we PLEASE get the feature back where when you go to sell an item, it displays the price of an item you already have for sale on the TP? I have undercut myself countless times. A few copper here, a few silver there… it adds up. Why was this even taken out !?

Yes. This is a massive flaw and time sink for me.

It also greatly adds up the amount of individual listings you have.

The amount was briefly raised to show up to 1000 of your sell listings but that went back to 200 with the latest patch.

I want to know whether or not I’m undercutting myself also. Normally I put the new item with the old. That’s not available anymore.

Shouldn’t be too difficult to just let you know when you hover the cursor over the price. It already shows the full price to include coppers so it should be difficult to add another line or two to show how many under that price you have listed.

Would be nice if your own listings could get displayed in a different colour so you could easily pick them out, yeah. I don’t think this is a major issue though.

Agreed. It’s just funny how they left it out.

Can a dev please answer why this change was implemented? Or was this a bug?

The TP is a separate web site. Every bit of info that you add to the TP increases the load on that web site (I’m sure some techie will come on and explain why that shouldn’t matter). When they redesigned the old “broken” TP their goal was to strip it down so that it wouldn’t crash. So we now have a broken TP that doesn’t crash.

What amazes me about the release of the new TP is how obvious it was a crippled version when using it. It was if it hadn’t been tested by someone who knew the game and used the TP. How does that happen?

I can go to my investment site and do giant searches, old old histories and any number of in depth studies. I suspect this is a case of follow the money, how much did Anet want to spend on a TP. IMO not enough.

I spent most of my time in GW1 hoping for a TP/Auction House because material trading and mini pets were a big part of my game. I had high hopes for the GW2 TP. It continues to disappoint.

I don’t think you understand the issue. There’s literally no way to see how much I’m selling certain items for anymore, so I don’t know if I’m undercutting myself by a copper or twenty gold. If you don’t see how that’s problematic, I don’t know how else to explain it.

You can tell I don’t deal in high-tier items.

it only shows your last 200 listed items atm, many players have more items listed, which they cant double check or take off the tp because they cant see them.
