When you place them in MF to get the Chainsaw Skeleton, do the previous minis get unlocked like “skins” in your wardrobe or they are lost?

They are lost. You can’t unlock them that way.

It’s not the new ones. It’s the Halloween pets from the first year and were rereleased last year that you can forge to make the Chainsaw one.

Chainsaw the Skeleton is made from the ‘Spooky Trio’ minis – Spooky Ghost, Spooky Spider and Spooky Skeleton.

The 3 new ones – the Mad King Head, Candy Corn Skritt and Glowing Bat apparently can’t be put into the Forge. I came to the forum specifically to check whether they can be used to make a 4th mini (now I can’t just check the collectables tab) but it doesn’t look like it.

You could try contacting Support. I don’t know if they’ll do anything but it couldn’t hurt to ask.

Using minis in the mystic forge really should unlock them, since that’s how it works with weapon and armor skins.

Perhaps with blue minis, I suppose, as blue equipment remains tradeable. But the fact that you’d get get both unlocked minis and another mini through forging makes it seem unlikely it will happen.

You have to have the 3 “old” mini set and a stack of Candy Corn. People seem to be over looking this when making Chainsaw. And of course you lose the old minis in the process as with anything you place in the MF.
