The TP is bs
Hasn’t 400 been around 20g for the last year or so? at least, for some of them
Most craftings have maybe doubled in price since ascended crafting .. however in the end that also makes it easier for new players to earn money .. if the use they TP .. so i really don’t see the problem
Best MMOs are the ones that never make it. Therefore Stargate Online wins.
I followed the guides on gw2craft.net as usual, and ended up spending double the gold it says I was meant to use to get to 400
Following the guides and buying everything at the same cost as it says, will result in the gold cost it says it will, its math.
Perhaps when you brought items, you pushed the sellprice up and ended up paying more for the mats then you could have using buy-orders. Buy orders are always best unless you REALLY need whatever you are buying in that instant.
Its controlled by rich people who buy out certain items which were originally so cheap then raise it in price from something like 30s to 2g each wtfffff. crafting is so expensive now even to get to 400 -_- smh
There are not that many things that can be monopolized by a few people. Most things exist in quantities that enable the control to be in many hands. There are some hard to find or discontinued items that are expensive, but not as many as you seem to think.

Because we can’t be angry about both?
Supply and demand. When you understand that idea you understand the market. Speculation for patch day is how some player make a ton of gold. The daily traders make gold off of known trends on the market.
“Quoth the raven nevermore”
Platinum Scout: 300% MF
prices in tp refflect only how much gold is ingame
when prices go up than this means theres more gold coming ingame than taken out
gw2 has a very high inflation – you can see this on everything is more than double the price it was a year ago
blame the champ train and freeloot livingstory aoe farm events
AND
tp is the only real goldsink we have in this game – without tp the prices would be even worse
@Romek.4201 I tried to do some research on inflation: http://gw2trading.net/report/inflation
I think it’s not that bad.
If you bought stuff without placing ‘Buy Orders’ you should not be posting about this here. The player base is so vast, it is difficult for anyone to control any aspect of the market.

Gw2craft assumes infinite supply at the prices it gives. It is not the TP’s fault you bought without looking to see if you can buy in that quantity at that price. The fault is squarely on you.
Also, it has been said time and time again by the Anet staff member who is responsible for managing the tradepost that rich players control squat.

Actually, we control the royal terrace but dont tell anybody.
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.

You mean blame Dungeons as they are the highest gold creators in game. Champ trains and Living Story create items above all. Which those items either get consumed or placed on the TP. Dunegons > all other gold generation.
So you were the guy who bought out all the Vicious Claws and pushed them to over 2 gold? LOL
