Hey, I’m not sure if this has been addressed elsewhere yet, but the BLTP hasn’t been working for me for at least a week now. Whenever I click on the icon/ press O, the window for the BLTP shows up… But with nothing on it whatsoever.

I hoped it was a small glitch that would fix after I, for exampled, tele’d somewhere else, but apparently that’s not the case.

Anyhow, I came here hoping to find a way to fix that bug. Any help would be much appreciated.

PS: It might be important to note that I’m playing GW2 with the Mac Beta, so perhaps that could be the issue.

I get an error bug after selling a few things on the trading post (around 5) but i’m on pc.

Arganthium: the TP runs on a custom browser that works pretty much like Firefox for Mac/Windows. There’s a separate program that the GW2 software launches and if that gets stalled for some reason, it can be hard to troubleshoot. There are a number of work-arounds and preventative measures for the PC that should translate for the Mac:

• Restarting the game solves the issue for most people. The custom browser gets restarted, too, which eliminates whatever issues were going on.
• Adjusting anti-malware. Your anti-virus etc software can prevent this extra program from establishing a secure connection to the TP server. It can be adjusted to prevent this.
• Adjusting firewalls. Same goes for software or hardware firewalls: adjust them to allow GW2 full access. Sometimes, just resetting your router will manage this for you.

If none of the above works, then you should contact support (link above, use the “ask a question” option). A small number of people encounter something more complicated and the support staff are experienced in tracking down the issue. They will probably ask you to run a diagnostic or two. Everyone that’s reported back to me after contacting support has gotten things to work more reliably.

Try to start GW2 by right-clicking the program and choose “Run as Administrator”.

i having same issue for the black lion trading.. can sell or buy anything at it. when open the Black lion trading it all blank… can anyone tell me what is happen?

My TP cannot run, it is nothing and I changed DNS Client to Automatic, del the gw2cache, close firewalls but the TP still not work

I had that problem a while back, Support worked tirelessly with me for over a week on it. The final semi-fix was to create another Win7 account and run the game on that as it seems something had corrupted my registry. It was a royal pain since the second account didn’t have any of my wallpaper or desktop icons and I had to pick whether I would get all my regular computer stuff OR have TP access. Luckily I was already planning to buy a new computer … and with a fresh install of everything on that, the TP problem went away.

But if you are desperate for TP use (as I was, my bags were clogging up to unplayability), try the second account, also run it as Admin.

Did you try closing the panel and speaking to the Black Lion trader?
