They exist in the data files, but apparently Anet decided to nix both along with swimsuits. For some reason Anet is extremely conservative and refuse to release anything that could be seen as somewhat sexual (probably for fear of appearing like Tera).
Bags I’m sure were nixed because it would be immersion breaking having people running around in battle with paper bags as helms. Although why they don’t just release them as town clothes is beyond me.

Immersion breaking while there are people running around with rainbow staffs, shooting rainbow unicorns or having a disco fever coupled with cute and cuddly pink quaggan backpacks.

That is extremely difficult to believe after seeing the female version of the new Phalanx “armor”. Then there are the crafted Masquerade and Winged set. The list goes on but listing all of them is not worth the time.

something to keep in mind which a lot of players seem to forget. Just because it was data mined doesn’t mean you’ll see it in game. On the other hand a lot of players here on the forums seem to want these things. They should release them and make their money.
all things aside silly things should be for town cloths ….. killing things should be for killing things death by unicorn or death by disco fever is just bad IMO should have left that silliness at the kiddy pool along with the oddly yellow water

There is no bikini battle plate in this game… not even close. Unless you are talking about underwear with the juggernaut equipped. The dreamer I can understand a bit since it is unobtainable by most players, so you won’t see unicorns flying everywhere you go. At least that’s anet’s logic. But anyways, I’m not saying this game should be serious business, I’m just saying that’s what anet is trying for. After all, there is no other reason not to release items that have already been modeled and put in the game.

I am really hoping the paper bags make it in the game. The only good charr helmets besides Tier are gemstone stuff, not complaining about how the gem stuff looks- but it would be really nice to be able to buy a just new helmet skin to run around with in WvW.

If you check the history, you can see that it was posted by Poke, probably through datamining and/or use of an automated creation tool for the wiki. If it was posted by Warrant Officer Bane aka Stephane Lo Presti, then I suppose we’d actually see it ingame. It could always be one of those things hiding in the files like the gasmask helm skin.
