My ranger is named Rhenium Longstride. I was sifting through the metal elements in the periodic table when I was making this guy and liked Rhenium. Longstride is for his long strides. lol

To put it simply, it adheres to pretty much every single naming convention a Charr can adhere to, but it sounds sliiightly elvish on the last name, which docks half a point.

7/10 Interesting name but no background.

Mine is Bordrag Steelfury, mesmer of the special combat oriented warband Steel, Ash legion. While he had always been mocked for being a mesmer and magic practioner, Bordrag was very rarely in the back casting spells if he could help it. Living up to his name, Bordrag was usually on the front lines either making a quick assassination or going toe to toe with heavily armored foes with his trusty dual swords.

8/10 great name but you are a magic user and as a charr i am suppose to hate you, sorry.
I have two charr my main is a warrior called Grom Hellclaw (blood legion) inspired from the great Grom Hellscream (probably my favorite character from warcraft). Like this orc he runs in to fights head first and both weapons swinging.
Second is a engineer because in the engineer lore it said that the class started with the charr. His name is Dragar Gearhand(iron legion) he is the best creator in his warband and that is saying something because that is what the gears are known for.

9/10 cause good minds think alike I named my charr engineer alt Clank Geargrind.

Good, solid charr name for a necro. 9/10.

Hellow Blasthammer: Charr Guardian. He was given a girl’s name by his parents, who believed that the “no line between male and female” idea needed to be pushed further than it was. Thankfully, he’s learned to take it in stride, and has developed an odd sense of humor because of it. A member of the Blast Warband, he lives by their motto: “Level everything”. The hammer part of his name comes from his preferred fighting style, relentless and unyielding. A big, dark grey furred charr with orange stripes, when off duty he often wanders around shirtless and wearing rabbit ears upon his head. Nobody’s asked about the rabbit ears yet.

Tasha Smallfury: Human (Yes, human) Warrior. While passing through norn lands, the Fury warband found a very young human girl by herself in the cold wilderness. Not wishing to do anything to upset the norns they were there to do business with, they bundled up the child and took her along to Hoelbrak. By the time they arrived (several days later), she had grown on them. When asked for a name for the child, one of the warband quickly replied with “Tasha”. Making her an honorary warband member was a small step after that. Frequent visits from the Fury warband allowed them to grow close, and they added to the norn training she received. When the Fury warband was wiped out by the Flame Legion, she declared that she would carry the warband name forward and make the Flame Legion pay a hundred-fold. Small even for a human, Tasha is practical and pragmatic, but very hard to deter. Trained to fight opponents larger and stronger than she is, she fights with a greatsword and rifle, in a style that some have referred to as “berserker calm”.

Love that first name (I like the first one with Hellow more) 9/10. My charr engineer is called ‘Smoke Kindlefist’.

Fits for an Engineer! 9.5/10!

Blood Legion Warrior: Doroga Icemaul of the Maul warband. (Also named after Doroga, a Marat of the Sabot-ha in the Codex Alera book series) (Maul as in the weapon, not the method of eating you that wild animals have)

8.625/10 because of the Codex Alera reference and a name that works well with both your class and your legion.

I give it a 5/10, though. I would rate it higher if I had a backstory or some such for it.

Krisara Goretalon – female warrior. Part of the Talon warband: Moa ranchers, and in her opinion quite boring. She got the Gore part of her name on account of being one of the more ‘spirited’ of her group.

I got five, figure I’ll stick with a few to keep this from getting too lengthy. Didn’t put much thought into backstory for any of them, just tried to think of something that was interesting and fit the general scheme.

Victus Painforge – My main, an Iron Legion Engineer. First name is a throwback to an old GW1 PvP warrior I made, Victus Carnage. Surname didn’t quite fit, so I looked for something more engineerish.

Tamnus Shadowfang – currently favored alt, an Ash Legion Thief

Brand Cinderfury – Third fav alt, still trying to figure out a playstyle I like for him. Blood Legion Ranger

All three of those names are nice. Give the first a 8/10, second a 9/10, and third a 9/10.

People kept asking me if I watched the anime Bleach because there’s a character named Grimmjow and there were soul reapers in Bleach though I wasn’t thinking of it when I made the character. Was just looking for a lore friendly name for a Charr necromancer.

I will give it a 7/10. Something about Nature that just doesn’t feel right to me even though you are a ranger. Otherwise I would have given it a 9/10.

Here is mine:
Donner Steelclaw – Donner’s father borrowed the name from a fallen Norn comrade and found it quite fitting when he learned the name meant “thunder”. Donner was accepted into the Steel clan when he used his claws to rip out the throat of a Flame Legion sympathizer, thus earning him the clan name of Steelclaw. He kept the warband name as Steel even after dispatching the former legionairre, Urvan Steelbane. He felt the Steel name fit him and his clan as they were prone to using their steel to fashion victory for the Blood Legion. He was eventually drafted into the Vigil and continued his savage and brutal methods of dispatching his foes. Eventually, he was partnered up with Trahearne aka Kindling to take down Zhaitan.

At first I thought, Donner for a Charr name? But after reading the backstory, it makes much more sense. 9/10 with the backstory.

My Charr engineer is Taen Ferventsalvo. He is part of the Iron Legion and Taen is derived from the word ‘taenite’ which is a type of meteorite that contains iron. Ferventsalvo describes his clan and gun wielding engineering profession.
