I don’t have the resources to make another gift/vial. I was counting on liquid flame to work with 3 other easy to obtain materials. Since liquid flame + coin + scroll + X is definitely something, i’m gonna pursue that even if it doesn’t turn out to be a volcanus.

1 Eldritch Scroll, 1 Vial of Liquid Flame, 100 Mystic coin, 250 Molten Lodestone

For Molten Lodestone, I spent lots of money and Skill point X(

Does any other weapon require 2 stacks of 2 different dungeon tokens? Quicksilver and liquid flame seems really unlikely if no other weapon/item requires 500 tokens from 2 separate dungeons…

Ya i wasn’t aware that if you don’t have enough lodestones, you have to put it into the forge first or it won’t show up. Thanks Maisen.

Does it? For me Twilight has the best particle effect. And volcanus is “legendary for poor people”

right. Twilight and Sunrise is the best great sword.
Volcanus, Foefire etc is legendary for LAZY people like me =D

Well they don’t leave footprints either… So there is always that.

On the note – I wouldn’t say Volcanus/Foefire is for lazy people… 200-400g is still a lot Gonna take me ages to farm that, considering I am constantly broke after crafting Vision of the Mists and flushing money down the Mystic Forge on a daily basis…

I’ve been following this thread since it started and just began working on the lodestones for Foefire last night. Gonna take… a while, though.

It’d give that spectral shield, Aegis (?). I am not sure if it’s shield backing or that 2nd shield component…

Sometimes, I think these unique and also difficult to attain weaps are more impressive than legendaries, only because they’re so varied you’d really look hard into the weap. Not like a twilight you can spot a mile away.

Might be a good time to invest in glacial lonestones with all these lodestones on the rise…Prices already gone up 50%.

You guys think Molten cores going up in price ? it’s about 10s now.

I’m secretly hoping Gift of Stealth could be used in Mursaat-type weapons with the whole out of phase comment in Arah, but I think I’d gun for my predator before that (and assuming no Mursaat in game not sure there’d be models)

I would like a dev to help me with this issue asap. I recently crafted Aether (foefire style short bow), and it is not behaving as it should. The preview indicates that it has a “pulsing” animation that makes the particle effects pulse at certain time intervals. This is not occurring in game. The only time it pulses is when I equip the weapon from the inventory, but not when I swap between weapons in game. Is this normal behavior? Can someone who has the GS or the Hammer confirm this? All input is much appreciated.

You see, volcanus is expensive too :p And here are much more weapons which use gifts, and I believe gift of fortune might create one.

Does anyone have an idea on a cool staff? I also checked every skin that was on gw2db but none of those seemed to be a ‘semi-legendary’ like foefire or volcanus weapons.

Has anybody thought of using the putrid essences that drop like crazy in orr and (as far as I know) aren’t used for anything that’s discovered.. maybe they’re for the scythe staff thing ?

So, does anyone know the recipe for the Lighting Hammer? If the Fiery Greatsword is actually available as a weapon skin, I wonder if the hammer is, too.

If only some cool looking staves had recipes, I really want Final Rest but it sucks that we can’t find a secret recipe for it like these weapons. Devs said Final Rest is only a LARGE CHEST drop, god knows which. If only we could craft it

Embers I got a Molten Core Farming Karma on cursed shore yesterday at arena event. Probably anything with with fire can drop it. I know for sure embers do drop them. Embers=Fire Gargoyle things that elementalists can summons. Tons of them In FireHeart Rise area.

Probably a new farm location.

also you can get molten core/lodestone from Citadel of Flame, and destroyer core form miner’s bags

if you can create so cool weapons like Foefire’s Essence and Volcanus, you defently can create Final Rest. And yes it’s can drop from chests like all diffrent exotic weapon and precursors
