Also i took a look at current prices, I need a minimum of 160 gold and 330 skill points to craft it..OUCH

Is elonian wine used in any of the weapon recipes or just food recipes / upgrading cores to lodestones.

Someone posted in the GuildWiki two days ago that the ingredients for Foefire’s Essence are: 1 Eldritch Scroll, 1 Gift of Light, 70 Mystic Coin, 250 Orichalum Greatsword Blade.

If this has already been posted above, I apologize—I have not read through this entire thread. Also, I have not tried it myself so if it does not work please do not fault me. I am just passing on what others have said, in the hopes that it is helpful.

Ah, going back I see this has been already posted. Good job all for discovering it! Really a community effort.

I really hope that there is a illusion mist shortbow/longbow and a volcanus like bow…

And i have the same problem with the shortbow aether, it does not pulse like in the character sheet or the preview… pleeeaase fix that would be awesome.

There are several combinations that grey out improperly in the MF window but upon placing the greyed out item in it then ungreys options.

It would be amazing if the frost bow shoots frost arrows…

Frost bow would use gift of ice+250 bow parts…if you really want that bow, go and get gift of ice first :P

Is this a bug or is this done to make discovery more difficult?

Unsure of whether this is the case but from my experience, item that you don’t have enough of won’t show up as an option if you first put in items that you do have enough of.

Eg. if you have enough of components 1, 2, and 3 and you place them in first, component 4 will be greyed out if you don’t have enough of it. If you first put in component 4, components 1,2, and 3 won’t be greyed out and it will tell you how much of component 4 you will need after placing them all in. I hope this is not too confusing…

how else could you differentiate if not use staves?

LostMK, buy 2 bow parts and check which one matches with the gift (if it uses gift? Dont know.)

Im about 50% away from making a Gift of Ice. If no one discovers a recipe before me I will post my findings here.

Liquid Flame= 10g
100 Mytic Coins= ~4g
250 Molten Lodestones= 155g…

How did you come up with an estmate of 10g for liquid flame? 10g is just for the recipe.

Recipe needs:
100 Molten Lodestone = 55g
100 Destroyer Lodestone = 120g
250 Ghost Pepper = 50s
Gift of Balfae = 500 CoF Tokens

Thats a lot more than the 10g you are thinking. You also need to be a 400 chef.

I read wiki wrong. Thought you could buy it for 10g….

the thoughest it for volcanus for me is probs the 400 chef lol and making the gift. that being said, the wife is a chef and she has a lot of fun cooking and everything you make can actually help you! low-level foods you can send to ur alts, or sell on TP (if has good yield), and the highlevel stuff makes a BIG diff

Well I bought alot of cool things.

Full tier 3 cultural armor
Everything exotic.

Alot of cool weapons imo that look better then legendaries. Corrupted Avenger, Immobulus, Deathwish, and etc.

So overall I’m happy with my purchases. I just hate being poor again.

Any further news on the lightning hammer skin?

and you forget the 100 destroyer lodestones..
I estimate its around 200G, less if you buy cores instead of lodestones. but then you need around 300 skill points..
It’s truly a legendary effort for me as I play only 4 hours a day.
The good news is I checked that the recipe of vial and the vial itself are account bound, so you can use your alt if they have cooking
the bad news is its hard to farm molten and destroyer cores. I tried going to mount maelstrom to farm those destroyers but after 2 hours getting nothing I decided to stop.
Embers rarely spawn at cursed shore, and it seems the fire mobs in fireheart rise are not high level enough to drop those..
so basically I do a couple of CoF quick runs, and the rest of my time I farm DE at cursed shore for money.
life is tough!

So apparently there is recipe that is:
1 Eldritch Scroll + 30 Mystic coins + 50 Corrupted lodestones + 50 Glacial lonestones

Scroll + 250 Blood + 250 vicious claws + 30 or 70 coins

Can any rich persone do it? in the name of science?

So for my legendary Bifrost I will eventually need gift of color and gift of energy. Are there any speculations on an exotic staff with these gifts? If so I am happy to farm money, buy the gifts and test them out.

Tweek, if you could, just buy eldritch scroll and check if that gift of color and/or energy can be added to it. Those might create new exotic weapons.

It doesn’t necessarily need to require a gift and we know it’s not something that comes out of using 4 random swords. There is already an untested sword recipe that I posted above which could be the Infinite Light but I’m not made of money so can’t test it. We also don’t know whether it is even craftable. It might be a drop only weapon though I highly doubt it.

I will in time Iejean, but for now I don’t have any of the 2 gifts yet. I keep wasting my money by throwing rares in the mystic forge ^^

Has someone found a recipe tath uses the Heart of Darkness trophy?

Lelouch, I tried every Heart trophys, but they don’t combine with anything. Don’t buy them.
We’d better focus on gift+lodestones recipes —→ they mostly give new exotics.
