edit: here is wolf trident too, so replace staff parts with harpoon parts.

Well the skins on those staffs are useless and not unique at all, besides final rest which is only a chest drop apparently.
Pillar of ulgoth has a normal skin off a karma vendor (lvl 43). I have it, looks good, it glows pink-ish flame from the top.
Rest skins are really, really bad and most probably just random green skins lol, pretty sure I’ve seen them around.
Wolfborn staff is the Tier 3 Norn cultural weapon ?…

Please don’t post this crap, got me excited that there may actually be some decent staff skins.
Gonna have to roll Warrior probs, yay for greatswords…Foefire, volcanus, twilight and 10 more skins I can think of actually look better then every single staff I’ve seen.

I haven’t the slightest idea what weapon this would make (though presumably a 1-hand sword).

Maybe it is Infinite Light sword… or else I have no other ideas.

Lets see Gift of Darkness will work or not at mystic forge ..
If it match..ill try what kind of weapon can produce =P

This recipe was found a few days ago but still needs to be tested. My money is on it being the Infinite Light.

All “Wolfborn” weapons are the T3 Norn cultural weapons that cost 63k karma each. All “Quaggan” weapons are the level 400 weaponsmith recipe. The latter doesn’t really make sense to me, why are the exotic weapons we can make quaggan themed?

Scroll + 100 Mystic Coins + Gift of Lightning + 250 Charged Lodestones

and while charged cores and lodestones are selling like hotcakes, there is bug where glacial cores turn into charged lodestones, and they are only 50s currently.

Has that recipe been confirmed?

Holy Moly, the charged cores are up to 70s each. I’ve been hoarding them while they were still around 40-42s each, but still need alot more to complete the lightning hammer, only managed to collect 250~

The biggest issue after gold, is skill points as I drained around 300 skillpoints from all of my characters to craft volcanus.
Im thinking of a strategy to get skillpoints: create new character, get it to lvl 3, buy crystal, delete character, rince repeat..70 times lol…

When you use the item code from Quaggan in game it says PVP quaggan staff, the same for primitive pike.

Uhm, the mystic forge vendor items are all soulbound not account bound.

they are but, but the recipe result isn’t.
just give a lvl 3 alt enough money to buy 5 elonian wine, and the other ingredients. and you get 5 lodestone that you can bank
recipe: 2 xxx core + 1 crystal + 1 wine + 1 dust.
so for a level 3 alt that means 10 xxx cores + 5 crystals + 5 wine + 5 dust = 5 xxx lodestones.

(continued) or if you want to do things faster: create norn alts, there is very close easy skillpoint to get at the worm location. get lvl 2 + skillpoint, rince repeat 70 times for 350 lodestones.

Haven’t seen any screens or anything, but someone has updated the Wiki to indicate that the Gift of Lightning/Charged Lodestone recipe makes Mjolnir, and that the 250 Sword blades/250 Charged Lodestones recipe makes Infinite Light.

tried to combine wolf’s statue with the scroll and mystic coins, but nothing fits. so i guess there are no exotic weapons that can be craftet with this statue.

I think we discovered most of named weapons which use gifts….here is only Infinite Light recipe waiting to be confirmed.

I really wish we could have a sticky that says “Infinite Light is boss-drop ONLY”. Its surprising how many people have asked about a recipe in this thread.

I assume you mean Final Rest. It seems to be confirmed that Infinite Light can and has been crafted.

So if an item isn’t in the gw2db database, does it mean it doesn’t exist? Because if that is the case, then there really are no stave that I would waste my money on atm.

Yes Tweek, we have discovered most (every?) of named exotics, and they all were in gw2db. So if they aren’t in gw2db they may not exist.

In that case I don’t see any motivation for getting my gift at the moment since no staff catches my interest in spending that many gold.
I guess it’s back to mystic forge gambling for a precursors and as a money sink.

I fully expect it’s the one that takes Globs of Ectoplasm, since all of the other mesmer-ish “of th Mists” items do.

The other one is likely a bug, as the note next to that entry says that it has a chance of producing either the Reaver of the Mists or Jormag’s Needle.

I can confirm that the one recipe with the 20 crystal lodestones made the “Reaver of the Mists” for me.
