Isn’t that what everybody wants for legendary weapons? So why not.

I wouldn’t hold my breath for legendary armor. Nothing suggests that those are coming anytime soon.

Also I agree with the point proviticus made. Legendary armor skins will immensely decrease the variety in armor skins that players choose to wear. Even though at first, without a doubt, the legendary armor will cost some serious amount of gold (which will help the situation, not everyone can get the expensive stuff right away) in the long term the situation will get out of control.

I’d personally prefer just to see a variety of legendary trinkets that’d offer some customization to your overall armor look.

I’m guessing we get Legendary Trinkets first (for 500 Jeweler).

A: even if they add legendary armor will be heavy time gated, and really expensive
B: if peoples focus on crafting legendary armor, to who they will sell skins ?

Really ? Are you one of the persons that have 100k+ Gold and already own all legendary weapons, or why do you want an armor set that costs maybe 20k gold ?

I really hope they never start with something like that, ascended armor is already soo much over the top for me.

I would prefer if A-net makes a 2nd legendary weapon for all weapon types. Instead of legendary armor/trinkets, so the other classes can have a combo legendary. I think legendary backslot items would look better than legendary trinkets. Imagine a cloak that moves around with the same look as the twilight or a clock made of lightning.

I think legendary rarity armor could be cool… but easily screwed up as well

I also think there are more important things to focus on at the moment.

Would be cool if it was a legendary armor set, instead of separate armor pieces. if so I would craft a set, simply so I could change the stats on it if I wanted to.

I meant a single legendary armor set by itself, so 1 gift of fortune, precursor etc. and it would cost like 2k gold. that might be something I would craft.

Legendary Armor limit so much the customisation options. Maybe there is only 1 (or 3 for GS) legendary weapon per type, but not everybody use the same weapon type. Legendary Weapons are already too much common (especially GS), but everybody use different skin and dye so everybody look unique. With a legendary armor, ESPECIALLY if it only cost about the same price as 1 legendary armor, everybody will want it. 2K gold is not that bad for a complete ascended armor that have the possibility to swap stats. And keep in mind that Armor cost a lot to create for Anet. That’s why new Armor usually come by the Gem Store, while they keep things like backitem or single piece of armor from the living story (because they cost less for Anet). Legendary Armor will come at a very slow pace. Meaning that for a long time, we probably have only 3 different Legendary armor (1 for each armor type). Everybody will look the same.

No i prefer something like a legendary amulet that give a special effect to the armor you currently worn. For exemple, one could cover your armor with shiny chinese letter, or give you a special aura, etc.

6000 gold for one Legendary armor ..
or 6000g → 60000 gems .. buy 60 different skins from the TP

I think i prefer the second.
