New potion idea, removes TP inventory.
The potion of undead slaying is sold after a quick (finishes in 1 minute) event. Players would use your idea to quickly make cheap max undead staying potions or a lot cheaper than by using Arah tokens.
Honestly what needs to happen is that Anet needs to allow us to equip potions and auto consume when the timer expires. Otherwise, people just wolnt bother using the consumables.
You didn’t read my post. I said introduce a new potion that is UNCONDITIONAL and gives +/-10% for putting all the useless potions on the TP into the forge. It would ONLY take the potions that are made by artificers.
Edit:
Currently, there are 3.8 million weak potions and 3.5 million minor potions for sale on the TP.

I wouldn’t mind seeing the ability to promote potions. Low level potions are currently pointless. They are used to level artificing and for the XP boost while leveling. You aren’t fighting any one enemy type often enough at low levels for the buff to mean anything, plus you level so quickly that you typically don’t need more than 10 per level requirement.
That is why there is such a massive oversupply of these things. They are useful for a very brief window 2-3 hours, then forever valueless.
I welcome ideas that allow you to do SOMETHING with them.
…That is why there is such a massive oversupply of these things…
People also make them purely to level artificer, as they are a pretty cheap way to go, resulting in a LOT more supply than demand.
I just looked today and there are like 1.5 million scarlet slaying potions on the TP also, those are now, likely, totally pointless.
We really do need something like this.

Not completely pointless. If you use them mostly for leveling (or getting some extra SP for use in the Forge), they are a very cheap XP booster… At least, that’s what I am using them for….

That’s a thought, use for cheaply getting extra XP along with a food item.
Oh god, id make thousands for a straight 10% damage boost/reduction, the supply would disappear VERY fast for the existing, or at the very least push the price right up, more so if you could sell the new pots
Well, it sure would drain the economy. The recipe should be a forge one, IE:
1 Extended Potion Recipe
1 Extended Potion (matching the recipe)
1 Obsidian Shard
250 Bloodstone Dust
Then you get out a recipe that is account bound and will teach you how to turn 10 potions into any potion of the same type into a potion that negates that much damage and deals that much more into one the affects all enemies. For example,
10x Strong Potion of Inquest Slaying – +8% Damage Vs Inquest, -6% Damage Vs Inquest
1 Strong Potion of Slaying – +8% Damage, -6% Damage.
EDIT: Should require 400 Artificing. At 450, you can turn 10 potions in to 2 of the next tier.
