obtaining dragonite ore
Weird how there usually isn’t a lot of people at the events anymore like there used to be. Typically for me, on TC, there is at least a few other people at the bosses and we get it done. Namely the Golem, Ulgoth, FE, SB, Shatterer. Seems like there is always people at grenth. You can also get them from the Giant wintersday gifts, although the drop rate isn’t very good.
I think the best time for world events is right after reset.
Try guesting to TC or BG; you should be able to find large groups doing world events pretty much throughout the day there.

Wow! This did the trick. Went from 2-4 people per event to 50+! Thanks!
I have to agree TC is a great place to do temples and bosses, I always guest there for them. No matter what time of day, there are people doing them.
Heavens Rage
Yeah, on TC I find great success with people doing events all day, and if there are few people late at night, I just tag up and bug map chat until people come =p
Yesterday, I went from 63 dragonite to 483 over about 4/5 hours. Now imagine doing that for a week. Not a bad effort since I have to wait a week to get enough laurels to end up using them =p
PS: I actually have 3 characters capable of going to every event that rewards dragonite, I do all the events I can on one character and swap to the next and do some events there until I get bored or just run out of time.

NSP does daily temple zergs at around reset time. You can try that.
This is correct. 3 competent players can do the Lyssa event pretty quickly. Usually by the end, there are folks who show up to “help” though. Most temple bosses can be done this way except for Balty, or at least that is my experience.
Additionally, for each toon you do the event on, you get the ground chest (with the dragonite) daily.
