Gnashblade is not the evil, greedy character that everyone makes him out to be. In Lion’s Arch’s early days, the townsfolk thought Yomm was the same. Yet, after making council, he put every effort into making Lion’s Arch the best possible city it could be. Without him, this great city would be but a small town. First appearances are often deceiving.

(Note: After the events of Skypirates, Kiel chose to wear an Aetherblade uniform…I don’t trust her)

This voting and the two candidates are nothing more than a social experiment to test players if they would go for the stereotyped figure that represents good or go with the figure that represents evil but offers what you want.

…Or people just have a fractal preference, or don’t think Kiel is actually that good of a person, or they have a mini-game preference, or like WP’s over discounted Keys or vice versa, etc. You’re dumbing this down way too far, there are tons of reasons that influence a decision.

Hoopa doopa.

i think people who make this vote about more than it really is are so stupid

do you want abbadon or some reactor? nothing else matters just pick one and vote dont go into some ridiculous blah blah rant about the “character” of the stupid ficitonal people its ridiculous

Not true. The fractal is probably the most permanent of the offerings (although they do also seem to have different offerings of minigames – I say “seem” because the event page seems to imply they’re both offering the same, but I suspect that’s a cut and paste error), but the unspoken distinction between the two is the question of who’s going to be in the Captain’s Council and driving the Living Story from there. If that doesn’t prove to be the most significant result of the election, then I’d be inclined to say that the Living Story team will have puppied it right up.

Incidentally, something I meant to comment on in my last post… what is this thing Ellen supposedly says at the end of the trials that’s so sinister? What I’ve seen is that her associate makes a pun about the “lion’s share”, but while I don’t know about you, I simply assumed this was referring to this as being the share that’s going back to Lion’s Arch.

To those who think Scarlet hate means she’s succeeded as a villain:
People don’t hate Scarlet like Game of Thrones fans hate Joffrey.
They hate her the way Star Wars fans hate Jar Jar Binks.
