Wut is dis sorcery? I was baffled by the cinematic itself..but putting an (oh god, dare i?!) Asian female in it? What turned u around? I thought the master race (asia) forbid any asiatic theme like cantha into the game for the “common folk” represented by the rest of the world. This also includes other shapes of eyes that are even 1 degree different then ours.

What turned u around as to offer us such a delight?

Just because Cantha may be a no-go doesn’t mean there can’t be Canthans. I mean, come on.

Besides, there are clearly Canthan-themed faces in the female character creation.

She’s not a “chick”, she’s a female or a woman or a lady or a girl. Also, she’s not Asian, she’s possibly Canthan though (there is no Asia in Tyria…I checked on the map.)

That response doesn’t make any sense, what are you talking about? There is no Asia because this is Tyria, not our world, do you not know about the lore of the land? What endless hole are you talking about? Are you making an analogy, or do you for some strange reason actually see a hole on the map?

I think Divinity’s Reach was originally intended to have a Canthan sector. now there’s just a big hole there.

I hope YOU are kidding. That hole in Divinity’s Reach is not where Cantha was, it is where the Canthan DISTRICT was that was canthan-esq. Cantha is an entirely diffrent body of land.

Trust me i know pretty well the lore considering i played GW1 since the second week of release until 4 months beefore the release of GW2. It was pretty obvious i was talking about the district not the continent. I am sorry u didn’t get it. Have to put it upfront for some ppl i guess.

If u are so good at copy pasting texts when not needed, try googling why the Canthan D.I.S.T.R.I.C.T. was removed from the game and by who was that proposal made. Give me a C…give me an O…give me a PY-PASTE! After u finish majestically copy pasting that…also look for who that “who” is (or was-hopfully their mindset changes with that and we do see Cantha).

You were extremely unclear and your posts were full of grammatical errors and misleading text mechanics. You may have played in gw1 (as did I), but you obviously don’t know anything about the lore.

Why is the private investigator not a male? I mean we already have Ellen Kiel as a famous female NPC so they should have made an important male NPC now. Yes I know there was also Logan but he is not that important… (or maybe he will be more important in the future… there also was Kasmeer and she might be involved somehow).

I’m not fighting with anyone, just doing my best to prove my point and I think I did. Now that the person who made this thread feels threatened by my response to his incorrect comments, he is trying to make me feel bad by posting things of a malicious personal nature.

Edit: I’m done reading through this thread, I believe my point stands for itself and I’m not going to let this deteriorate into an all out fight so this is it for me. I cannot prove or disprove any point when the conversation is headed in such an illogical direction.

Well, let’s hope that the upper echelon at NCsoft in asia has a change of heart and allows the re-building of the cantha district so we can chase this evil gorgeous villain and lose her … there … in that maze that there is cantha (district).

I’m happy about this. Her name doesn’t sound very Canthan, though..LOL I don’t know what to even think…Maybe there’s another ‘asian’ themed culture we don’t know about yet. I hope she’s Canthan, though…As I really need Cantha to be in this game eventually.
