Burning the effigies - how long will it stay?
As far as I am aware of, only the fireworks finale is a time limited achievement. This may change, but right now I believe the Effigies will be there until the end as the release page only says “starting” on June 18th.
That would be relieving; if they stay, and the achievement is available to get during the length of Dragon Bash, then all is well.
I just wanted to know if there’s a chance for it after the 18th, since I won’t be able to get online and grab it myself that day.
I would also like to know if the Effigy is a
One Day event
Event that will last a few days, until something next occurs
or, an event that will last till the end of the entire event
According to the article released about an hour ago (https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/attend-the-effigy-lighting-ceremony-on-june-18/), the ceremony itself is an instance (Memories on the Pyre)…so…probably going to hang around for a little while.
However, the achievement is to light 50 Dragon Effigies…so those are going to be spread around, probably similar to pinatas.
By the 6. No more Pinatas. I beg of you…..
Well, there’s only 50 for the achievement…maybe we do something other than walk up and press F.

Possibly walk up and press F twice! Heh. Or maybe just attack it in the world.

Odds are it’ll be more like you go get a torch and light them, I don’t have my hopes up. I’d love to be surprised.
“You try to light me? Die, sucker!”

Abaddon taught me never to dance in front of anything I’m trying to destroy.
Edit: Abaddon must be behind the effigies…it’s the only answer.
