I was pleasantly surprised with this month’s living story, the murder investigation, especially the cutscene in Divinity’s Reach was awesome. However I have no reason to actually play through the other parts, because a certain facebook page has gone ahead and spoiled it for me. Call me a weirdo, but I’m actually one of those people that doesn’t want to know the ending of the story before I start it. I am an RPG enthousiast (videogames as well as tabletop) and, in my eyes, spoilers of this kind are unforgivable. Coming from the official facebook page makes this just too absurd for words.
All right, whining about it won’t fix it, but I do hope ANet can learn from this mistake, and hide spoilers (or just don’t spoil!) on their facebook page in the future.
If ANet intends to keep using their facebook page in this manner, I would like a heads-up, because then I’d rather hide your posts from my news feed.
