Are you sure you didn’t see the fireworks that people can launch? Culling could have made it look like nobody was there but you would still see the fireworks.

Will even if it is not, the next one is not supposed to start in 2 hours, so I would say go to sleep. You have the whole weekend to complete the achievement.

Fireworks went off in Yak’s. No one got the achievement when they stopped 20 min later.

I am currently sitting idle in devonas rest at the firework show and, it not starting? I would like to know why. Is it some sort of bug or is anet to lazy to flip the switch? Half the people on the server are still waiting as well.

Was sitting in an EU overflow 10 minutes before it started. Fireworks appeared. No acheivement.

Over and over for years – since the beginning of GW – I’ve constantly seen people have problems with time and time conversion and complain about it for some reason. Why and how? We all obviously have internet access. It takes just a minute one time to find out what the time difference is between where you are and PDT/PST (or, less time than it takes to write a post about it). Then all you have to do is remember. It’s not very difficult. I’m two hours ahead of Bellevue, Washington. I have been for the past eight years. I automatically convert stated start times of things to my time upon first read without getting all confused.

Just got the achievement in an overflow server, still no fireworks though lol.

Hasnt triggered on GH either.

Gues ill try again in an hour.

Maybe the fireworks are on the way to LA… we may have to escort the transport bull from bandits.

Thank you Anet for ruining your Dragon Bash by failing to do the one thing we are all waiting to see……Fireworks and soon……burning up effigies…..or will you forget to burn the effigies too?

Well, the thing is that the fireworks HAVE been there on several servers (most likely those not in overflow got it) and there would be no real reason for them to kitten up their schedule as long as they fix it before the next appearance.

We are hearing rumors that overflow got the fireworks, and the gifts. Is this true?

I arrived to LA 15 min early, ended up in an overflow server waited for 25 min after is should have begun, nothing, no show, no achievement, nothing. Now I get to spend two hours waiting for the next show since I made into the “real” world. =(

Interesting!! We all show up for fireworks…and get nothing. I’ve been in two overflows on yak’s bend. Be nice if GW staff had something to say…and update maybe. Or do we all just stand here for hours on end and experience nothing??

Can we get some input? A bunch of others and myself have work and various other things to do, I can’t spend time just waiting with no heads up how long.

I stop my work and join game and go LA and waited for 1hours and saw nothing . If u think this is funny i wanna say all people ideas : THIS IS NOT FUNNY and if you need problem with program designer i can help you guys (i wont want a lot of money) OR if u have problem with hours

Public Relations and Developers are different. Public Relations rep should be the one posting while the devs work.

I’m very surprised that they have let it go on this long without saying a peep……it doesnt make any sense to not at least have someone on the forums right now letting everyone know whats happen.

Well, maybe you should buy yourself one. Because the fireworks weren’t supposed to be up an hour ago, only 30 minutes. Also I think it is hilarious.

People are lazy. Dont see why Anet cant put 2 timezones in their releases though. They do do it sometimes.

Anet’s policy thus far has been to never take the blame for any of their screw ups. They never provided timely notices for things like this. When the official word comes out, it will be something in the line of “people misunderstood – it is not our fault.”

I am in Henge and nothing.. I am not in overflow….

After 30 min of fireworks, the Hologram Shatterer got shot from the sky and I got the achivement.

No

There were a few overflows that were bugged when Dragon Bash first started but there are no overflows that are actually showing the fireworks atm.
