My opinion about Dragonball
Yup I agree all this stuff is boring. Also mor rng chest woot woot and still nothing good but more candies and fireworks.
Not to mention when it puts one of the teams in and slowly fills the other team, the first team camps the bridge of the second and picks off the other team as they come out of the starting area
I did 20, and I had a pretty good time doing it. I’m not much one for PvP (except WvW), and probably was doing it wrong and people were dreading seeing me on their team, but I played 20 matches and was on the 9 winning teams. Not too bad for being terrible. I even came in 3rd on my team a few times.
The only part I’m a bit bummed about is it not counting towards the 10. If it did, and I knew the wins counted towards the 10, I’d go back and slug out trying to get 11 more wins.
This game is impossibly easy, even when you don’t have power-ups. It’s about staying with your team and moving/dodging more efficiently than your opponent. I’ve won about 80% of the games I’ve played (around 70-80 games).
I attribute it to my gamepad though. I use a Razer Nostromo game pad to play with, and it does give me a bit of a movement advantage with the thumb stick.
the game is fun the problem is as the normal PVP theres no system or any kind of autobalancing teams by score.. or something like counter strike or many other games do…
autobalancing teams by score
this would make high scorers not happy.
since a team win is required for the achievement.
if the achievement is based on personal kills or personal score then this may be all right.
but at the moment, the achievement requires a team win of 20.
and a random team !!!
The two issues I have with Dragon Ball is
1. Team balancing and
2. Horrible, horrible lag.
I don’t experience lag in any other part of the game, just Dragon Ball. Am I the only one? I lag warp across the map like crazy; half the time I don’t even know which level I’m on after using the jump or propulsion pads as I rapidly zigzag back and forth between locations. I have been unable to pack-hunt together with other players due to this. It makes Dragon Ball pretty much unplayable for me, althoug I try to stick with it and hope for the best in terms of achievements.
I would have preferred to just play it as intended – it looks fun.
I have not experienced this sort of lag anywhere else in GW2, including sPvP, which runs smoothly for me.

Lol after I finnaly reached 20/20 wins yesterday after some boring torture they got removed for that wing achievement. Good job anet …
I’m becoming quite frustrated with this game. I’ve 2 wins out of 11 plays. And I’ve led my team in kills multiple times. Does anyone have any tips?

Yeah since there are no marks on the minimap for where your team is, staying with your team is pretty close to impossible. Also there’s no description of the powerups unless you mouse over them and then as you’re reading you’re dead.
I’m glad I don’t play GW2 for the mini games, there’s not a single one that works well with the engine they’re using.

1. The map isn’t that large at all. It isn’t that hard to keep up with/find your team mates.
2. They posted what the skills do in both the official announcement and in the wiki.
3. DB works very well. Also, the Keg game works pretty good too (although personally, I dislike any of the mini’s that require you to pick up things and play keep away).
