In no particular order
Guards in the Towers: they repair they even man cannons they have some smarts.
The Toys: the Mech Scorps (Lotsa Damage in groups, very squishy)
the Sentry Turrets (Very handy, love hiding them and making the enemy go on a easter egg hunt)
Air Strike Grenades (so far under utilized very hilarious when used in big groups)
Immunity (Altar) boon: again another under utilized but hilarious mechanic when used en masse.

no more upgrades! towers get what they get and it is upto a few people to defend which takes a little effort and good luck on PvD with those common sense chokes at the gate.

tougher NPC’s love it.
you get a decent amount of badges to blow on the new toys!
the supply delivery system, that’s pretty nice, it’s easier but more stuff needs supply, and the NPC’s love using it up.

the Aetherblades, those are fun and tough.
The Supercannon, WOW that’s fun just watching it fire across half of the map

the Map itself is a great design, all the little touches, places, climbs, drops, etc good stuff.
The frostreach side I seem to keep missing if our side ever pushes into there, but defending that area looks fun.

I love the overall give and take, some stuff may seem overpowered but it has a bad side to balance it out.

I’m sure im missing a lot of stuff that just makes me smile, but anyways it’s a fun map and I hope to see some of that map mechanics into WvW.

and FGS don’t forget the chests after taking a keep/tower/generator/special objective.

Sincerly, Me.

I feel like this is what WvW should be like. Way more fun and dynamic than the old WvW.

I like that the map is less “human-centered” (architecturally) than the regular WvW maps.

Yeah, regular WvW maps seem boring to me now.
I still feel there’s too much zerging, though. It’s missing several smaller objectives, away from towers and forts.

+1 to everything said, regular WvW seems bland now that I’ve played EOTM. There’s simply more things to do, more strategy to be had, more back & forth, more flanks, more surprise “oh crap” moments, and more “darn I should’ve known not to get baited onto that bridge” moments.

The map being more “dynamic” is a good way to describe it. It’s definitely more dynamic & more fun, there’s simply more things to do, more ways to attack & defend. And the fact that 3 sides look so much different with their own theme and weather effects, all are just icing on the cake.

The ONLY thing that needs to be added is a way to pick which overflow you want to be on. Otherwise perfect in every aspect.

Your comment is curious to me. I find just the opposite. eotm was exciting when it came out, but now it just feels like a PvE karma train.

Basically, I go to eotm for rewards and WvW for competition/fights.
