Did it last night and no loot from all 3 and I know I did enough damage.

Just did 10 in a row and got nothing, yesterday I was 3 for 3. I’m sorry but with the way the loot is apparently player/dps gated it is officially a waste of my time.

To Anet: either fix the drops so that if you qualify for a medal you get something, or just don’t bother making any more content like this, thanks.

I am also not getting any loot despite silver or gold medals on kills. It was hit or miss before but I’m 0 of 3 just now. Yesterday got 3 of 3 even with an underlevelled toon, although doing constant reasonable dps.

New patch seems to have broken it.

Same here. Zerker guardian dps them the whole time while standing in the bonus damage circles. Got even credit but no loot.
Btw they removed the party tagging damage calculator a lonnnnnggggg time ago.

The lack of dev interaction on any of the multiple knight loot threads shows it is working as their intention:

Do events without being rewarded, even though we said you would be rewarded.

“Legendary Assault Knights will drop 5 Deluxe Gear Boxes and a chance at an Assault Knight Power Core, which can be used to color the Tempered Spinal Blades back item.” – Patch Notes March 4th

So how do we get cores now? Feed of people who are getting drops and accept the fact that people who can’t get them just can’t? Thanks Anet.

This event is such a waist of time. When you killed your last knight all the circles dont show up.. so you gotta run back and get the one or two u missed.. if u enter then its 2 late and ur alone when u enter….

Dont get loot from knights at all, why do it at all? loot on chest… so you get loot if you got enough dps and kill em all, get all the circles andhope it dosnt bug so u missed one cause then ur screwed like i said on top… nah, atm i hope it ends soon

The circles may not show up. But they are there

I did the event last night, full ele zerker gear, all 3 bosses and even standing in the bonus damage circles no loot at all. I got gold on all the events and we even got all 3 bosses killed in under 6 min. But I still got no loot. I know its not how much damage you can do as I was hitting between 2k and 3k repeatedly. I was also one of the first people to the boss on one of them and I still missed out on the loot. So tagging them early isnt the answer as well.

No one is getting loot, but at least we all know that the Twitter accounts are fake, amirite?!

Just pointing it out, knights have not been dropping any loot since last nights update. It’s bugged. No one is getting anything until they fix the bug. So regardless of the mechanics involved to get loot there is no loot as of the last patch. Want to complain? Post in the bugs section of the forum.

They still drop from the Scarlet chest. You know, the event that will be dead by tomorrow if Knights still don’t drop loot.

We managed to hit 10 individual threads on this issue between this forum and the bug forum. Can we hit 15 before Anet replies*? Only time will tell.

*I am in no way endorsing making duplicate threads, just playing on the amusement factor of this development.

Something needs to be done about it now. If this keeps going there will be no one doing the event because it is really is not worth doing again. This will leave people out of doing it for the first time. We are only 3 days into it and already people are having issues completing them because not enough people are doing them.

Oh, for sure. Kind of a letdown, also losing out on 3/4th of your chances at Cores per hours kinda hurts. The prices are just creeping up…

You sir, are a gentleman and a scholar, I salute you! You have solidified my hasty counts, lol.

It’s reached the point where we haven’t been able to kill all 3 on the main server when everyone just gave up because there’s no loot.

Last 3 runs have been that way for me. People have just stopped caring.

Decided not to do the events til the next build. Waste of time.

Hmm, keep scouring, I was betting on 20 before an official response, but the merging ruined it

Shows me they hope to let it blow over.
I didn’t realize Anet were taking their break during the final part of LS when Anet mentioned they would take a break after.

It’ll be fixed tonight I am thinking… Anet sometimes has a weird habit of not acknowledging that they are working on a fix (perhaps the reason being that this is a loot issue and they are being extra careful not to mess up loot systems all over the game as that may be catastrophic)

Well, 16 threads were made, 7 of which were in the last 2 hours, addressing the issue by players, and they all got merged…if Anet tries to make it go away, they will just keep getting flooded.

Ya, def sucks as I keep having this happen to me as well. And it’s always all or nothing. You either get loot from all 3 or none of em.

Have you gotten loot ONCE in the last ~16 hours (since last patch)? Because no one else has, so if you have, you must share your mystical Jedi ways!

Last night I killed the knights 5 times and not once did I get a single drop from them. Not much loot on this cycle of events sorta sad.

I got loot twice during the first day but then after the patch I’ve been getting no loot. Now I kind of just go to LA to help people fight the champs, I rarely even bother with the knights anymore.

This is a pretty good summary of what is happening on a lot of servers.

I just took part in a sterling attempt on a Blacktide overflow (I guested over), where all three knights were taken down, and I know I did damage in all three (but probably most in blue). Not a bean for any of it. I really would like to try and get that ascended back piece, and have lots of things in place for it already. But I can’t sit for hours and hours and hours to do these events, crammed in to such a short time frame, even if I’d like to -it’s too flashy light-wise, and after just a couple of hours, I physically can’t do anymore. So I suppose I’m just going to have to farm gold instead! Lots of it! Forever!
