I wonder if its possible to have a GM program that would Basically, over look a region..Map section by map section.
Most/many bots tend to Run in pattern and in groups.
It would be very easy to oversee the areas, and spot the bots.

Just using something Equal to our FRIEND/GROUP/PARTY on a map with ALL the spots showing the players.
Then you could do a quick Zoom into a group and view them.

We could also make it a game..of TAG..

i think thre’s a lot they could do. this is one but as for countering bots…. don’t they have coding ways to just detect when a player is misusing skills repetitively? I’ve notice most bots randomly heal when they are at full health, use elite skills, drop traps, and onwards, repetitively. with some code you can detect the repetitive misuse of a skill thereby suggesting it may be a bot. They also attack all possible targets one after another without stopping or much hesitation. This amongst a few other code-side strategies, like the one you mentioned, detecting running patterns… could quickly eliminate and prevent bots. A simple warning message like the boot message after inactivity, and if the actions are the same patterns continuing without change, then the system can boot. something to that effect, of course it can be smoothed out
