You have to admit, Braham looks pretty cool with that hairstyle of his complete with fur rags and a big-* shield.

Anyways, what do you guys think of this guy? Me? I really like his design!

I must say he looks incredibly similar to Simon Belmont in that wallpaper, the red hair and the attire with those white feathers/fur. And the fact that you can’t actually see the weapon, first thing that came to my mind was a whip for some reason lol
But anyway he does have a cool design, and I also dig his weaponry.

Looks like he’s a guardian. He appears to be standing in some kind of symbol (if he’s using a mace he has one). If that’s true it will be interesting to see norn characterised as a guardian. I always saw guardians as pious and dedicated to others whereas norn always seem like belching brutes obsessed with their prowess in combat and creating their legend. I’d really like to see ArenaNet’s take on a norn guardian as a main character. It certainly fits the theme of him staying behind to help out the refugees, that seems like something a guardian would do.

Would be awesome if Braham becomes the poster-boy of Guild Wars in the future! I really dig his get-up!

My Norn would kill the children of a thousand suns for a Mace with bear heads on it like that. Just take a look at the Legendary Mace and you have the general status of Mace skins in this game summed up…

His armor looks like a variation of the Wolf Armor (medium Norn cultural armor). I’ve always wanted that skin on my heavy armor Guardian. Hope they make that available as well. But yeah, that mace….

Pretty much everything about him looks cool. Hair, clothes, mace, shield. It all is cool. Seeing as he’s norn though, it would have been cool for him to have tattoos.

I love his gear and hair. I hope that as part of the event they come into the game as options (where not already present).

If he fallows Wolf it would make sence, the feeling of working together and its his role to protect the pack

He’s young, and in young people there is usually the need to counter mainstream culture and society. I think people really limit their imaginations and creativity when they say ‘Well, this doesn’t look like so-and-so race’. People need to look beyond such rigid concepts.

There’s also the fact that in BWE 1 the Nord Character Creation was pretty much limited to RL Nordic hair/skin/eye colouring which led to enormous crying on the forums. Now we’ve been graced with all this equality

The Norn were inspired by Nordic culture. They are not Nordic so they do not have to look Nordic, they’re a different species than humans so they have their own spectrum of diversity not limited to Nordic skin tones.

I completely agree. And, beside the awesome look of Braham (I’d like to see his hair as a choice in character creation), I’d really like to have the Raven Shaman armor on females :Q_____

Braham’s hair is more pinkish than Eir’s. Also, the original Guild Wars Norn were all Nordic looking. But hey, they also made Krytans white, guess they had to balance with Norn.

I kind of want to be what ever class Braham is… he wields a cool mace and sheild and his armor doesn’t look heavy, warrior, guardian, knight, or soldier styled… it seems more of an adventurer type armor…. i want… and i want my norn to have his body type.

Meh, as long as he doesn’t end up a Trahearne or Kormir 3.0, whatever, though with Anet’s storytelling track record, I wouldn’t put it past them.

That is Rox tier bad. Look at at that face and those neck muscles. I can’t believe I’m saying this but maybe they should make that anime hair bigger so that it can draw attention away.

Maybe I’m being harsh and it’s just a bad angle, but then again aren’t characters supposed to be designed with lighting in mind? If it’s such a bad angle why would they use it as a teaser? Is he going to look like that for the majority of the storyline?

Yep same, i’m glad others like him, but his hair style looks weird to me, very un norn..i also cannot understand why it bothers me..but it does..

As soon as I saw the screenshot (not the artwork) I thought of Sylvester Stallone in Rocky. Based on facial features, not haircut. It’s just one screenshot though and the angle might distort it a bit.

…well, I don’t even see Sylvester Stallone, in the screenshot. xD In the art, yes. But when I see him ingame, I think his face got punched in more than Rocky’s and he looks like he’s on the verge of tears.

To me, the guy looks like he’s around 30 years older than Eir, which feels totally ridiculous.

They could have done better with his face to make him younger then his mother… I guess norn children are named after the parent who is more famous and more known…
