Forum needs to remember the page we log in from
+1 – Just came here to post about this. Drives me up the walls.
Proud member of Heresy on Blacktide EU.
came here to actually post this…+1 for you
Awfully irritating idd, similarly to loging in on the home page, and when swapping to forums, having to log in again :S
Yes, I agree its sort of annoying ESPECIALLY if you have an authenticator and have to type that code in every time also…
+1 was just looking to see if someone else made a thread on this. i’m not a big fan of these forums because of this issue. just bad design.
Came here to post this. It’s REALLY irksome.
If you access the forum from two computers, you have to log in again frequently.
You can read, but it will ask for login when you try to post after you wrote your response, then lose everything you wrote, don’t even remember what subforum you were in.
So many times I have to rewrite everything or just gave up when this happened. Please fix this.
+1, this is both standard and easy to implement so I hope they’ll get around to it soon.
I’d appreciate being able to log in and go back to whichever thread I was viewing. The current setup makes us log in each time we come back to the forum (unless we leave our browser open, I guess), so I often don’t log in until I see a thread I’d like to respond to or feel I can add to a conversation. But then I have to go find the thread again (not difficult, of course, just annoying).
Alternatively, let us tick a box "Keep me logged in" like on any vBulletin, phpBB, invisionfree, etc. forum board, please, if possible with this forum software.

I’ve heard this is now possible here in the 21st century.
I don’t know if this has been posted before but it would be extremely nice if I were able to click on a link to the forums from another site (Reddit, for example) and have the service remember where I was headed after I log in.
Right now the current flow for this is:
- Click Link
- Close tab
- Find and click original link again
It’s a minor annoyance but it would great if it could get fixed.
Bumping this again after a month, can you please fix this? It’s an extremely basic feature that is assumed in every kind of forum software, please have your web team look at it. So many times I’ve opened background tabs that lead to this forum and they end up ruined for no reason.
