I have never had this problem….until today… and I got it 3 times, and then when I go back and click the “log in” button, I’m already logged in.

Just thought I would let you know.

I was getting this today as well, along with many 503 errors.

So on my laptop the forums show up as bullet form does anyone have same problem??

I got this a couple of days ago. It lasted about 5 minutes or so then stopped. I was using my iPad (Safari browser) but was able to access other forums such as gw2guru and use the internet for other searches during this time so I’m assuming it was the forum and not my connection.

Me as well. I know it’s not my connection as everything else on the internet works fine for me. The error seems to indicate a problem of communication between the web server and the content server.

(The web server is just the “display” for the content, which is hosted on the “content server”)

Hopefully ANet figures out whatever is causing the communications issues.

any 500 (errors starting with 5) level error is a problem with the server, 400 (errors starting with 4) level errors are a problem with the client: Example 404 – page not found.

i find it weird. seems to have started up when i’d make a post about in game bugs.

Its almost impossible to navigate the forums due this bug. This is really annoying.

502 – Web server received an invalid response while acting as a gateway or proxy server.
There is a problem with the page you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed. When the Web server (while acting as a gateway or proxy) contacted the upstream content server, it received an invalid response from the content server.

As Mikau said, it is nearly impossible to read the forums, let alone leave a comment.

If anyone manages to even get this thread to load, know that you are not alone in experiencing this issue and it is not on our end.

Getting lots of 502s this morning.

having this same exact issue right now.

I think people are hammering the forum at the moment watching for update news related to the 4/15 patch. So it is causing this error and slowing the forum to snail speed even when it loads.

Just in case others are suddenly experiencing this issue, know that it is not just you.

If the web team wasn’t aware of this being an issue today, this suddenly started up again a little over an hour ago for me and has gotten worse since then. It’s hard to get any pages on the forums to load at times and seems to go in waves of pages being inaccessible and then being fine for a few minutes.

We did a quick maintenance update so it should be sorted.

It is much better, thank you for letting me know it wasn’t just me as I was starting to think it actually was. I’m sure the web team is aware of this when it occurs so in the future I’ll just take a break from the forums for a bit until it passes.
