That was actually the first thing out of my mouth in party chat when Scarlet popped up in the reactor when we got to Algalon – err I mean the Anomaly.
The worst part was there was a GM with us the entire time, and when we all started to express our disdain towards Scarlet appearing, he got rather uncomfortably quiet.
But yeah, I agree, I’m glad we got the Reactor, I would have weeped big puppy dog tears if they somehow managed to force in Scarlet into an Abbadon fractal, worst still if the Abbadon fractal turned out to be a remake of the final boss fight in Nightfall. THAT would have made me rage quit GW2 out of protest.

After seeing they destroyed this part of LS by making Scarlett
the mastermind behind all this again I think it is better to
make a new piece of bad lore instead of destroying a formerly good
part of the GW story.
I bet anet would have involved Scarlett somehow in the fall of Abbadon

There is a problem. The person that made Scarlet is in charge of writing the lore for Guild Wars 2. This include REWRITING Guild Wars 1 material to make it less human centric. This also mean they made the Human God like Abaddon a glorified OP wizard. I am not kidding.

At the end I realized there wasn’t actually any story to it. I didn’t learn anything at all. I don’t know if there was any significance to it at all or how it related to any other aspect of the game.
It’s almost like I did explorable mode, but I know I did story mode.

Anyway, the fractals show us things that happened in the past, but we are not time traveling. She could have just invaded Abaddon’s fractal.
You see, even if we fail the Searing Fractal (the one that I really hate because I don’t know how to charr), the searing would still have happened and Ascalon would still be charr territory nowadays.
