I just had a horrible run in fractals, we had to lfg 4-5 times because and spent over 3 hours on this final boss since we didn’t get the jade maw. There has to be a fix or a nerf for this boss i know there is a lot of people out there who love challenging bosses but this boss is insane, i find myself spontaneously getting agony without even being in the aoe’s. Please anet make this boss a little easier. This is pretty op. I get 1 shot every time.

Stay at max range from the melee boss and kill him first (2nd phase is soooo much easier). attack the ranged boss when he gets enrage until its gone.

don’t need it even

my group was killing melee boss, while i was attacking ranged one (as p/p thief) to keep stacks down

the only real issue were fire attacks aoe attacks from ranged boss, for some reason they kept hitting you even if you were outside of red circles

Its almost impossible, I just don’t see this as being possible for anything other then a dedicated group of “elitists” I don’t see pugs being able to do this at all.

Edit, after 2 hours we are halfway through the boss, the firestorm is dead and the berserker is determined to be a major pain in the kitten , inc another 2 hours to finish ^^

Pretty sure this was an issue when the dungeon came out the first time as well. I felt like a lot of the times I took damage I was not in the red circle.

I wouldn’t have a problem with this if it had better rewards than the JM (ie, gives Azurite) or if JM was buffed to be as hard as this.

You need to remember that FotM is supposed to be the endgame dungeon of GW2 and it was supposed to he very difficult.

also, why the hell does it respawn you in the boss room half the time :’(.

Edit, I believe I was wrong here, they can go to repair, I guess I’m just in a ranty mood ^^

Instance owner can hop out to repair, just can’t change characters. Or did they change that too?

The best part about this was that i got 29 empyreal fragments as a prize for beating this boss.

I just pug’d it, only 1 of us had ever done it before (back when it was living story)

we wiped twice, but on the second time we had killed one of them…they don’t respawn.

haha, we have wiped like 30ish times so far =p

I wonder how many people first fought the Berserker thinking they could stack underneath him for Phase 2 like last time, only to get smashed. XD
