Im very worried about your 1st topic too. If it is just 1 daily chest no matter what, I know for sure I will not be doing fractals at all in the lower levels.
+1 to make fractal weapons skin appliers…

If it’s only 1 reward chest per day no matter the level they will have alienated a lot of core fans. It would be like making it so you only get a reward chest once per day per dungeon instead of per explore path.
I know it’s hard to please everyone, but ignoring the core players, the ones who will still be playing this content months after the patch, will be a breaking point for a lot of people. Lets hope they are smarter than this
These are all good questions. Number 2 was bothering me as well… though I suspect we will see a new gem shop item in a few days that reads something like “infusion extractor” only 400 gems per use!
I hope indeed but the past experience I had with update taught me not to be too confident about what I assumed to be obvious.
I also hope that if it was their plan to limit the daily to once a day no matter what they might reconsider it. I’d really want to read something from Anet about this : I’ve been waiting for the fractal update for quite some time and this is really killing the fun.
Giving us the will to play fractals while limiting them at the same time would be cruel :’(
Mistlocks sounds more like the game locking out an ability or type of ability. If I had to guess, I’d expect things like “Signets don’t work”, “Bleeds do not apply”, or “Healing power is halved”.
But that’s just guessing. We REALLY need to know before we can decide what to think of this, and that’s a major part of the fractal update.

Hmm I didn’t understand this like that but that’d make sense. But this kind of malus can’t be too specific : “bleeds do not apply” for instance would just completely destroy a condimancer and you can’t tell people how they should play so if they malus they will probably not be so harsh.
Guessing is always fun! The Mistlock stuff reminded me of the mission from Guildwars 1 – Dragons Lair with the 6 Facet and debuff that went with the area. I think its going to be a good update, but I do hope they give us something to do with rings and make weapons a ticket / skin.
