Guild Wars 2

So I just tried to solo the dungeon tonight after i got home, got to the ooze boss smoothly and then i realized tiny oozes heals it after getting it to 50% and wondering why it kept healing, and having ignored Dessa’s tips, but i ran out of time tonight to attempt the boss again. I can imagine it being so much easier if i had a friend to focus tiny oozes or maybe vice versa. Has anyone solo’d it already? Is the rest of the story path solo-able? Is there a guide up somewhere to tell what to do/what comes after it?

You can’t solo it because the puzzle in the laser guns room requires 3 people to coordinate on switches.

I tried soloing it too. The mobs were easy enough, but I can’t be in 3 places at once.

darn it > < that sucks! It would suck to spend hours getting up to that part and then realize i can’t lol MY GUILD didn’t tell me there’s 3 person puzzle when i told them im trying it LOL > <

Yeah, I was lucky that I tried the puzzle room first before getting to the ooze boss. Only lost 5-10 minutes total. And the knowledge helped when I did it with a group.

It sucked though. Most “story” elements of living story lately have been soloable.

Story must be doable solo.. but it’s not. And i can’t skip story mode. Thanks for nothing anet.

just use the LFG tool and play with other people in an MMO, its not a terribly hard dungeon in story mode.

It can be soloed, at least on a Guardian.

For subject 6, trying to kill the small oozes before they reach the boss is the priority. Even if you can’t kill every ooze in time, the boss will eventually go down if some of them are stopped.
Any kind of CC/immob is really helpful if you don’t have enough damage (I switched to hammer for this part).

After that, you can pick the cooling bar and complete the heated room.
There’s a decrease on heat damage ticks for every activated cooling device, so it’s about doing them one by one (there’s a second bar somewhere in the repulsor lab).
Once two cooling bars have been set, you should be able to reach the end with little healing. In order to activate the consoles, just use a condition removal for the immob.

Couldn’t figure how to complete the repulsor lab (I don’t even lnow how it’s done with a full group). It might be possible too.

The final boss is fairly easy to solo.

it takes 3 people to do the lab, maybe 2 with Mesmer and with creative use of portal.

^This really unless you’re doing it just for the sake of being able to say you soloed it.
It’s much easier and since the fractals just got updated it takes no time at all to get a party together.
