Guild Wars 2

I am currently in a fractal on the thaumonova reactor fractal, and a room that contains a cooling unit and a collider seems to be inaccessible and we have done everything we can up to this point. There is a door but unlike the others in the room it cannot be destroyed or even targeted and we see no way in the room. This room is not in story btw. Has anybody finished this in fractals that may know what I am talking about?

Edit: After one of the people in our group looked around on the forums we discovered this is a glitch. We found a work around using a mesmer, a guardian, and a engineer. The room you need to place the cooling units in has a control panel at the far side of the room. The mesmer used portal and then blink and walked as far as he could into the room. Then placed an exit portal and the engineer and guardian used gap closers to reach the control panel. Two people are needed to interact with the control panel. Once they push the control panel they can return by interacting with the device at the center of the control panel.

Bugged earlier for me too. The entire instance has so many issues.

you are talking about the room with the turrets? The cooling unit spawns after you kill all golems in this room…
Another cooling unit you can get from defeating a champion ooze…
In story mode you need just 2 cooling units, in normal fractal you need 3.
The third one is the one you can get after freeing some krew members.

Then there is another room in which u receive dmg (if not story also agony), in this room there a slots for the cooling units. let your guardian go into that room spamming skill one and wearing as much healing gear as he has, use the doge roll to be faster…

After you have placed the cooling units you should be able do enter the room with the turets again and finish it (cant remember atm how exactly)

The room where you can save the asurans is the one that got bugged. It was impossible to get the cooling unit, because there was no way passed the door. We did find a way to keep going in the fractal by hitting a control panel in the agony room. I put what we did in my original post to let others know.

I’m sure we spent at least 30 minutes looking for another boss room in story mode. After suiciding to get the 2nd rod in.

okay got the bug too now…. AND PASSED THE FRACTAL!

Here is how i did:

I put two cooling units into the slots, then i ignored the third one and run through the room.

I’m guardian and switched to magi stat armor! also took the sigil for heal and the sigin that gurants increased healing + focus as elite 45 ar if it matters..
