Defiance is a 200+ Active Member who all Represent WvW guild. We look forward to working with other WvW focused Americans on Sea of Sorrows.

Sea of Sorrows has a huge Australian Population that wipes any night force they face. What they lack is a North American force. The benefit of this is that they have ZERO North American Queues at this time.

If 2 or 3 other large NA guilds came with us to Sea of Sorrows we would quickly move this server with the help of the Australians into the top 5.

This is a perfect chance for some guilds from those top 5 servers that are tired of your 3 hour queues to move to a server that has that night force in place and avoid your queues.

It’s true, too bad my guild is small and most people are hell bent on staying on our server even if it’s low ;P

Ahaha, yeah, sure. NA primetime SoS is just as stacked as TC when they have a shot at winning, but after the utter buttblasting they take every afternoon from GoM+TC recapturing what the Australians steal at night, SoS gets miffed at losing everything instantly and stops showing up.

I don’t understand the point of this? We left Darkhaven when FMC and UK did back 2 weeks ago. That screenshot is 2 weeks old, we have been on Tarnished Coast for 17 days which is why you don’t see us around. I don’t quite understand what your focus of posting on this is?

I fail to see the arguement about night capping, Anet has allready stated it’s not going to change. Either get over it, Get on a server with a night pop or get some night guilds working. I also would like to ask how you support waging warfare when you lose every upgrade and piece of siege equipment every day.

For the record, as a Sea of Sorrows player who is in a NA time zone, what he says is pretty true. The only time I ever see WvWvW queues is at night, and the leaders and commanders of our top PVP guilds are all in oceanic time zones, and it’s usually when I see the most rampaging in our favor. People are free to do as they please, but I just thought I’d toss this quip in.

Definitely happy about getting some more NA presence during the day on SoS! Nothing worse than waking up in the morning to see we’ve lost 50% of what we held when I went to bed 4 o 5 hours earlier!

Looking forward to not having to spend xG a day in upgrades to loose everything overnight

I’m sorry to say it, Cayden, but as far as I’ve seen your guild creates chaos in /team and on the actual field more often than it contributes anything of value. You also seem to think that this forum is a place to spammishly advertise your guild and what I’ve come to call your “scheme of the day.” Good riddance to server hoppers, at any rate.

By the way, I’m hearing that there are plenty of SoS Oceanic who have already moved or are in the process of moving to TC. Swimming against the flow is kind of, bad planning.

We also have gotten some messages from guilds on other servers excited about the idea as well.

Over the past four weeks, Defiance has left Darkhaven for HoD, moved back to Darkhaven, left Darkhaven again for Tarnished Coast, and is now leaving TC for SoS. Don’t make that welcome too warm, they’ll be jumping ship soon enough.

We never went to HoD lol, we were thinking about HoD when Darkhaven collapsed but chose Tarnished Coast instead because HoD queues were super long.

Don’t like TC losing everything at night so going to Sea of Sorrows.

TC doesn’t start losing ground to SoS until around 7 or 8 in the morning, not at night. We were rolling +550ish all night yesterday. At any rate, goodbye. Don’t come back please.

Lulz at you trying to tell us to leave after we already have. Sea of Sorrows is the last great server to be filled. Their Australian and Hong Kong population makes it one of the strong oceanic servers. They simply need a strong NA force to stop the day time (by server time) bleed. We will fill that gap with the help of the 2 other guilds now moving with us.

Improve your reading comprehension skills. As for the rest, I call bs, but I’ll be sure to watch intently for your astronomical rise to the top.

Cayden likes to speak dramatically and do dramatic things. I wouldn’t take the way he words things too seriously, he can’t help but try to make everything that happens around him and his guild sound either epic or catastrophic.

TC player here. Good luck to you guys. I had fun roaming with your team. You provided me with some solid strategy and great advancement in levels. I don’t like to see good people leave. I try to stay out of the controversy in team chat and get along with everyone. There is one thing I would like to point out though. Every time you move just to win it kills your guild a little more. Sooner or later you will only be a faded copy of your old selves. There is something to be said in being loyal to your server community and building something from it. I’ll delete this game from my computer before I switch realms. TC for life.

A record of server hopping is not a good one. Any player on Sea of Sorrows should be cautious of building relationships with them, they may leave if they find a place where winning is easier and more guildmates can get online, then you’ll be left with a sudden vaccume as they take some of your PvPers and ruin any time spent investing in partnering with them.

The system was a game launch mechanic meant to help friends find each other and to stabilize populations, it was never part of the WvWvW mechanic. They’ve said, check the dev tracker and patch notes regarding the move to the 24 hour cool down. WvWvW was meant to establish camaraderie with one’s server, however, fighting side by side with other server soldiers against rival servers. Everything about the game is designed for collaboration, not desertion. When people work with each other, beautiful tactics come together and many people win. When people work against each other, they break easy, lose morale and often times lose their battles.

Check your logic.

And if the publicity you want is that others on SoS know that you will Benedict Arnold as soon you see an opportunity to win elsewhere, then you are very mistaken on what good publicity is in fact.

It’s funny. For all the complementing I gave you and probably the general unspoken service that I did by not mentioning the temper tantrums that some of your players would throw in map chat, (although not Sharan, that cat’s alright)……

Doesn’t guild influence get reset every time your guild server-hops? If so, RUN’s going to have a hard go at claiming any keeps in a meaningful manner if for some reason SoS so desperately needs a NA-daytime presence, as you state.

I’ll admit, SoS has some rather crafty folk in WvWvW, and they mount some great fights.

Also, now that you’ve stated your intentions halfway through a match against SoS, I’m not sure how inclined the folks on TC are going to be to trust RUN for the rest of the week, particularly given that SoS is in second place and you’ve just publicly declared a distinct lack of allegiance to TC.

We already moved we aren’t sticking around so they don’t need to trust us MCL. There are people here just exaggerating things. There is some clear butthurt about us leaving, the reality is we are leaving and so who cares. Let TC cry about it and flame on the forums.

(Not that we care) but to come on and claim that we are being unclassy is funny. Especially when as soon as we had people in WvW on SoS we pulled everyone from WvW on TC.
