Guild Wars 2

Hi there, a little about myself. I play a level 80 Human Mesmer on the Jade Quarry server.

My prior gaming experience was primarily World of Warcraft. I did however dabble in other mmorpg’s as well. I was a hardcore raider for about 5+ years. Nevertheless, I found the hardcore raiding environment psychologically toxic so I decided to take a step away from that domain.

I’m looking for a relaxed guild with stellar players who can not or do not want conform to the demeaning and loutish behaviour of traditional “hardcore” guilds. I would love to be a part of a guild where the players demonstrate above-average intelligence, exemplary skill, a thorough understanding of game mechanics, maturity, a strong command of the English language, and a lack of kittening, kittengery, kittentery, and anything else that would make themselves unpleasant to be around. More than just good players, I’m looking to join a guild with people who I will enjoy killing pixels with.

I am still learning the overall mechanics of the game, I’m no expert… but if you are patient, I will learn… and I will get better. A friendly attitude goes a long way. I’m currently interested in doing dungeons, and I would love to dabble in a little spvp (I actually suck at pvp… but I want to get better and be more involved in it).

I’m currently level 15 in the Fractals dungeons, and I’m level 20 in Mists PvP.

All in all, I’m looking for very active (I play a lot), friendly people who I can grow with and who will help me to become a better player. I use vent mostly, but I also have mumble and C3 downloaded.

I have read your post and wanted to reply and offer you a spot in our small cozy laid back guild, if you dont mind to change servers.

We have 63 members atm, and we are steadily growing, but we
still maintain to keep the family feeling.

We have a mature member base, I would not mind taking a few

Wolves was created in 2005 in Guild Wars. We have had our up and downs but still here and Proud of it. Now we have also moved to Guild Wars 2.

We invite you to visit our guild and talk with us either in game or vent. We ask that you might give us couple weeks and since you can be in more than one guild to test us out. We are mainly 18 and older amd work and/or university and/or have families to take care of. We are mainly in a American time zones, but have a few Euros that came with us from Guild Wars. We log on to have fun and relax, so I am guessing this is considered a casual guild. I don’t want to make the game a job, but hoping we have people that will play with us daily. Wolves is a family/pack, we watch and help each other and work together as a team. We are slowly rebuilding the guild at this time. We are looking for people, willing to help us grow. We are friendly and very chatty and will do what we can or when we can.

We do offer ventilo but not mandatory to use it, though it can be helpful in dungeons and pvp and a forum. We have a mixture of people that do Pve and Pvp, dungeons, and Wvw. We are in Tarnish Coast and prefer you be in this server, but will take people from other servers and hope you will decide to join us on our server to gain the perks. We are also looking for new officers. No promises will have to talk. If you like to play other on-line games, we have guildies that may play or enjoy playing with you such as (Lol, steam, Wow, Aion, Tera, SC, D3) to name a few.

Jaded[Jade] on Darkhaven is recruiting active, friendly, and mature members and there is no application process. We are a family-style guild looking to form long-term friendships through PvE and PvP. We have active forums and a vent server, which we mostly use for dungeon runs and WvW. We’re a laid back, easy going bunch and are enjoying our Jaded adventures together in GW2!

I’m still considering some of the offers I’ve seen in this thread. One of which seemed perfect in every way except for the guild name. I’m a little OCD about names. I’m particularly apprehensive about names that has anything to do with Demons, Evil, Murder, Fallen Angels, Devils, Darkness or anything Sinister within the guild title. I know it’s weird, but I blame it on my unshakable OCD.

It’s such a shame too because the guild had pretty much all the standards I was looking for.

I’ve also been glossing over some of the offers I received in my inbox as well. I appreciate the interest. I don’t want to make any hasty decisions since I plan on sticking with the guild of my choosing for the long haul.

To be fair, I’m asking for a lot. But I’m patient. I want to play with amazing players. People who take the time to research their professions and put the time and effort into perfecting their game-play. Yet, I want to be in an atmosphere which is rather well-collected and not the abrasive, swinish type that is unfortunately common in many high end guilds.

I’m expecting to play with people who generally portray themselves as if they were responsible, mannerly adults in public. In light of that, I don’t want to be with a guild which encourages extreme dedicated hours or mandatory in game practices. I also don’t want to play with people who “rage” whenever they experience frustration.

- Mature (average age ~27)
- Guild and TS3 chat that don’t sound like Xbox live. (We do swear, talk about drinking, and sex… but nothing is excessive and/or reminiscent of teenagers.)
- We’re semi-hardcore with no mandatory events. We want quality players that work together, but don’t treat this game like a job.
- We don’t rage.
