Guild Wars 2

Hi.

I just started playing a couple of days ago and am hooked on the game already. I’m now looking for a sociable, active guild to join that doesn’t take things too seriously who would be happy to answer any questions I have about the game and generally have a good laugh with.

I’m a 29 year old male from North West England with two kids so I’ll be playing as much as time allows me (mainly when the kids are in bed/at nursery ;-). I’ve been playing MMO’s since about 2005, those include WoW, LOTRO and to a lesser extent GW1 so I pick things up pretty quickly. I prefer PVE to PVP but will be willing to play either if the guild requires me to.

I like to think that I’m a friendly individual who will be very active in chat when I’m online and will be very happy to help newer players when i’ve learned more about the game myself.

ASq are a fun, friendly, relaxed & mature guild on the Gandara server. We are an English speaking guild, mostly European based (GMT to +4) & a small number of members in the EST time zone (some of our EU players play late night too). Where possible we would especially like to increase our EST player base where possible to be able to support all of our players at whatever time they can play.

We are a small player base, currently around 50 active members & currently averaging around 7 people online in the day/night (GMT) & 15-20 of an evening/weekend. We are looking for active & regular players but also welcome casual players & solo players that are looking for a relaxed place to chat & group as & when they feel for it. We fully appreciate & understand that life always comes first & this is just a game to have fun in & so anyone that has reached member rank or higher do not lose their place in the guild even if inactive for any period of time.

We organise regular dungeon/fractal runs (this month we have an event scheduled for nearly every evening numbers permitting & further ad-hoc runs often occur through the week) & monthly WvW runs (these will no doubt increase as the players require), other events as needed for monthly achievement (non pvp) & recently ran a Hide & Seek event which was great fun & made us explore the city on a whole new level! We also often help each other as much as we can whenever & wherever needed.

We are happy for our members to multi-guild & also if they prefer, to primarily be based on another EU server & join up with us on dungeon runs (I believe we can also group on fractals if in an overflow).

Sounds like you would fit in great with us and are exactly the sort of member we are looking for.
if you don’t mind changing server then you may be interested in joining Darkveil on Gandara.
We are European with players from UK and the continent. We all have jobs etc so aren’t hardcore, but we do like to have some fun together.
We are building our close knit community and looking for mature players (over 20) to join us for dungeons and some WvW. We have just started a few weeks run to enable all members to clear every dungeon which you may like to join. There is also a group starting that wishes to do regular pvp & Tpvp.

Hello there Hyperlogic, The Old Boys [OB] will happily accept you to their ranks.
Our guild knew a little dip some 2 months ago, because a lot of players stopped playing the game. We had 5-10 members online casually.
At the moment we’re growing and keep on growing with 20-30 members online daily.
We have forums http://oldboys.enjin.com/home and plenty of influence for amazing guild boosts every day.
We also have both players who’ve played since start (and who are able to do higher level activities) and new players (who are still in the progress of getting their level 80).
For that reason we are a helpful community and willing to share our advice with others. Currently we have one member with a legendary and a second to come.
Our guild focus: Casual/Mature PvX (anything) and ages going from 18 to 30.

I have read your post and wanted to reply and offer you a spot in our small cozy laid back guild, if you dont mind to change servers.
We have members from Europe, the US, and other parts of the world.

We have 101 members atm, and we are steadily growing, but we
still maintain to keep the family feeling.

We have a mature member base, I would not mind taking a few
younger members, as long as it wont be the majority of our roster.

Although we are not huge, we have a very active group of people
now, we play every day and mostly play together in party.

We have weekly organized WvW/PvP, Dungeon & FotM runs, and even Music Night, and our members do all those activities together with other guild members every day as well.

We use RaidCall to talk, and a lot of us are on there on a daily basis as well.

Server transfer works from your character select screen: Choose world. You can transfer to another server without costs, once every 7 days.

Note: if our server looks like its full, all of our members managed to transfer within 10 minutes, hope that helps:)

The Plumbers Guild is a fun, casual guild looking for active members like you =) We are based in Gunnar’s Hold and mostly do PvE, but also like to organize dungeon raids and WvW from time to time!

We don’t do anything on a schedule! Most of our members are still in school (and we all live in Dubai), but we are from different parts of the world and we just go on whenever we can! (Usually anywhere from 1-7 pm GMT) =)

We from Extraordinary Gentlemen [EXG] are an international Mature PvX guild playing on Desolation [EU]. As we are an international guild, we have members from all over the world. We mainly reside in USA / Canada / Europe and Asia! Therefore, we have members online at all times ready to do some dungeons or WvW runs!

As of right now, we have over 214+ Members inguild with a daily login varying from 130 ~ 150 members online and around 50 ~ 70 members online at the same time.

As we are a PvX guild, we are several Officers appointed to specific game types such as PvP, PvE and WvW. They organize scheduled runs through the week whom you can join if youd want to be sure to hit a party.
