Guild Wars 2

Just wanted to say I am blown away so far with the event. I can’t wait for the 31st as I suspect it will be tons of fun.

Guild Wars always had the best holiday events and you should be proud that this event in GW2 did not disappoint.

Seconded. I haven’t seen all of ACT 2 yet, but the Lunatic Game is awesome.

Agreed, looking through all the changes, there’s a lot of effort here for a holiday event. LA changes, trick or treaters, new costumes with a brawling minigame, scavenger hunts/story on the Mad King, hidden areas for extra, pumpkin carvings, new items, haunted doors, a new jumping puzzle (and everything else coming out in act 2)…

And we still have two acts left! They really put a lot of work into this, I must applaud all of you devs. Good work!

I think the Clock Tower is a little too difficult to be considered a Holiday event for fun, but other than that I enjoy the second act a lot. Pretty cool.

Hopefully this is a learning experience to see what the majority of players want and are happy with. Afterall holiday events should be about fun!

The Tower is gorgoues. Absolutely amazing.
Both of the PvP minigames are terrific. Great mood, awesome jeepers-creepers atmosphere, tons of fun.

There’s so much to do i wish i could do it all at once… and all the time.

I’ve been enjoying the event, aside from the tower (which, in my opinion, just isn’t fun to do with other players. If it was solo, I’d enjoy the difficulty of it). A friend and I were having quite a bit of fun just screwing around in the labyrinth with all of the events in it.

Act 2 is soooo awesome! People had issues with Act 1, but Act 2 is definitely is even better! so much fun xD and it feels like Anet has taken feedback into consideration. having boosted to 80 map, new instances and dungeons, people wanting more drops, so theres tons of exotics in the mad king realms as well as tons of halloween related things? its great! great work! and thanks for listening to player feedback even though i didnt have much to complain about xD

This is simply amazing.
I play so many MMOs and in every single one of them events are complete crap.
This one is mindblowing. New zones, super hard puzzle, ENTIRE NEW GAME MODES.

The pumpking collect and the ghost search were pretty standard (I did like the ghost search though), but the act 2 is crazy.

Yep, I’m really having a blast so far. I always thought it would be fun to go Trick or Treating in-game (getting a LITTLE too old to pull it off in real life now ) but never saw it done. The rest of the events, and the progression (that statue in LA!) are just icing on the cake for me. Can’t wait to see the rest of Act 2, since work kind of interfered.
